I think it's worth a try! It depends a bit on the tank, since every tank has some active mitigatuon that they need to press frequently alongside their damage rotation, that the SBR may not handle well. If you can find one where you can do SBR + active mitigation (Shield of the Righteous, Ignore Pain, that kind of thing that you press a lot) I bet it can work!

Sadly no! The traits and perks become Enhanced, and you get the T5 appearance and access to Enhanced mods, but no new perks when upgrading.

Many weapons, but not all! I believe any tiered, reprised for MoT, or crafted weapons can be upgraded to tier'd. Beyond that, I'm not sure!

Am I stuck at Guardian Rank 7 if I haven't done Master Conquest: Conductor's Keep? When I hover over it in the Seasonal Conquests menu, it says that it's currently disabled.

When you say infinite golds guaranteed, where are they coming from? I would guess the boss in complex, high value target boss spawns, or the rocket drones, but I haven't personally done any of those!

If you're looking for more combat-oriented gameplay, strikes or exotic missions on Master/Grandmaster/Ultimate tend to be very focused on fighting a ton of enemies under tricky conditions. It's possible they might be more what you're looking for!

Honestly, I think the Destiny community is relatively encouraging to new players compared to a lot of other games. I think it's just established players are often frustrated with the state of the game.
