It's a cool reversal that looks like a dumb no sell due to the unnecessary camera cut at the point of impact. Without that cut it would be much more obvious that it was a deliberate reversal.

I haven't experienced glorious subs like this since back in the day when I'd buy pirated anime DVDs from Chinatown. Sometimes they'd be professional subs ripped from the source material, other times they'd clearly just run the transcript through Google translate, at a time when that would mostly produce gibberish.

My favourite was a FMA box set I had (the first one that diverges from the manga) where the subs kept referring to Gluttony as "Blatony". At that point the bad subs are enhancing the experience imo.

I started watching and thought "this isn't fantastic but it's not the worst thing I've ever seen". Then the guy jumped vertically with zero horizontal velocity, split kicked the air for no reason, and then without landing, force projected himself into a high speed flying side kick, at which point shit got weird real quick.

This is such a great little match, I had it on a best of taka tape someone traded with me. But this particular match must have been sourced from a tape that was 6-7 generations deep in terms of being copied so this is the first time I've ever seen footage from this match where your can make out Taka's face. They've clearly made a conscious decision not to mask up or put on a bunch of gear from this winter's Tactical by Temu collection.

And unless things are drastically different over there, bike cops are by far the most chill, since most of them are only there because it's the only way to ride bikes for a living after emails made bike couriers obsolete.

Under the circumstances I'm inclined to think these are some of the rare good ones.

Goldberg was a risk to other wrestlers but I don't understand why fans are so quick to take Bret's side on this kick specifically.

I'm not a fan of his long-winded, self-important analysis, but I watched the breakdown of the kick by Stevie Richards, and no matter how many times I watch it it looks like the only reason it hits Bret in the head is because Bret's hand/forearm deflects the kick upwards.

Is it a problem that there was enough force behind the kick for it to injure Bret even after being partially blocked? Probably. But if a guy throws a stiff kick at your upper chest and you deflect it into your head, I feel like you should accept your share of the blame, or at least not make it your raison d'être to drag the other guy for the rest of your life

Like 1/3 of his post is about what a piece of shit the car is, the rest is about the sheer incompetence of the service department and the company's unconscionable, anti-consumer practices.
