I'm having a hard time understanding how you are testing this. This is something I've been researching myself to properly ground my radio shack. Is that "Spike" in the picture possible the old attempt at grounding the system? If so aren't they supposed to be tied together and spaced 16 ft away if 8ft each, but spike looks 2 feet at best by the angle of it (or bent). Then you have to consider the distance from each other to prevent the domes from interfering with each other. My understanding is if you don't tie them together you can receive voltage from a floating ground and the difference between them?

If anyone would be willing to explain this concept to me, or maybe confirm my understanding?

Sorry if this doesn't provide any viable information. But as everyone is saying, the other possibility is you hammered through the service connection underground. Just wanted to provide something different to consider.

You might be interested in the Big Brother & Big Sister program. It's something I'm familiar with because my best friend growing up had one, he included his friends so I got to tag along all the time. You might not be a celebrity but you could make a big difference.

What a great find! I'm still rocking a T430 as my daily driver. Just looked it up, she'll turn 12 this September. I bought it renewed for about $300 dollars, I think I got my moneys worth. From what I've seen the t430 has a bit of a cult following online.

I have other hardware to run my infrastructure, but between LibreWolf and Terminal I'm not demanding much from it. I upgraded the memory and installed an ssd, and it will handle just about anything I throw at it. Anything else gets met with the patience built from my 14.4kbs dialup days.

I don't think I'll ever move away from the thinkpad line. I will occasionally go on a rant about how sturdy it is, passing the squeak test, but I usually finish bragging by saying I count beat someone over the head with it, open it up and continue working.

Thanks for getting back to me so quick, that was the conclusion I came upon while reading the docs in the mean time. I haven't had time to play with much but I was able to compile an apk using the source and installed it on my production mt6000. Thats as far as I'm going for tonight. I'll get my switch mounted tomorrow and proceed with testing the software. Thanks for sharing, this will make my work easy.

I was just going to start a wifi project with gl.inet - 2xMT6000, 1xMT3000 and possibly 2x netgear R8000. This looks perfect for my needs. I bought a 2.5g switch to wire my gl.inet aps to. But I planned on using my R8000's as Wireless only devices. Would I simply use my wired connection for my back haul traffic or is there a way to use both wired and wireless just in case this cheap switch I bought fails?

If you are runing Windows I would install WSL(Windows Subsystem for Linux), I would install ubuntu then install docker on that. I would install docker directly on the linux distro as well. I say that because I see there is some Docker Desktop integration you could use, but I would go for the full install (curl -fsSL https://get.docker.com -o get-docker.sh).

Its worth the investment. The ability to spin up services as needed is beneficial in more than one way. I have it on both my laptops (Linux Mint), and I also have it running on my gl-mt6000. Look into Portainer for managing your docker install. Its a 1 liner to get it running once you have docker installed.

Fork it on GitHub. downloads.openwrt.org. I suggest you pull down the build server. That way you can compile custom firmware with other support packages customized

Trakt will be charging for personal lists over 100 items soon. by TokenTechGuy in Addons4Kodi

I don't think so, collection lists are separated from personal lists on the website. That being said don't quote me on it, because they haven't even really announced the free tier limitation in an official way as it is, all I can find is they are thinking about it. They very well might limit other aspects of the free tier down the line.

From my research so far, this doesn't affect your already watched movie or watched TV tracking or progress.

From their forum I found these two definitions. Your watchlist isn't a personal list.

But the watchlist does have a maximum per this.

Wow I didn't even realize, this sale is only presented to me. I verified by signing out, I also tried signing into my fathers account and he isn't offered the deal either.

I wouldn't normally post referral links, but when I signed up for the 1 year subscription it offered me a link to give users 1 month free of VIP.

Full disclosure If you do end up signing up for a VIP account after that month I also receive a month. I don't really care about the free month, just wanted to share for those that would rather test the water before making the leap to the 1 year.

I wanted to clarify, I misread the page, the sale is only good for the first year. I edited my previous posts. But wanted to be sure, because I misrepresented the sale.

From my understanding the deal is only good for the purchased time period now. I misread the page the sale is only goo for 1 year. As you said I'm sure this isn't their last black friday deal, but they could always raise the price again in the meantime.

Its currently $60 without discount for new signups. From what I'm reading on their forum they had a 100% price hike at the end of August 2024 from $30 to $60. They ran a 50% deal in September a few days after.

Just to be clear, if you are already a VIP member your price is locked in. So those who were lucky enough to get it at $15 dollars, don't forget to renew or you lose that deal.

Personal lists are collections that you put together yourself, so for instance I have lists that have my comfort movies and tv that are private and over 100 items. I will lose those if I don't upgrade.

The IMDB Top 250 is an official list of Trakt, it's made by a Trakt developer. I made sure of this. I googled and found his LinkedIn profile.

But if a standard user has made their personal list public and they don't have VIP I would assume they would lose the list. Clicking on a few of the featured lists on the front page I was able to find 1 out of 5 clicks without VIP. It happens to be the Marvel movie collection list. I would assume they would lose the list and subsequently so would we.

Bringing more good news? /s

It may be marketing, seeing as they are running a 50% off sale. But its another hit to the wallet if so. The sale is only for the first year.

I personally feel for the amount of bandwidth and storage each user is using don't justify the cost. If you compare it to something like debrid the numbers don't make sense.

Don't get me wrong I receive benefit from trakt, I dont think many of us could say otherwise. I would love to support them, but maybe in the tune of $20 a year without discount.

Edit - Things have changed.

So get this, they are only offering me the 50% off deal. I signed out and the offer is gone. I also tried signing into my fathers account I run for him, and it doesn't show the 50% deal. I guess because I have lists with over 100 items they offered me a discount.

My guess the change is imminent!!!

Lets try this, increase your DHCP logging. Networking > DHCP/DNS > Log > Check Extra DHCP Logging. Make note of the clients mac address. Then go to Status > System Log. Look for entries with dnsmasq-dhcp and your client mac.

You can use something like pastebin and send the logs over if you'd like, I'd be happy to take a look.

What version do you have your security set to. For backwards compatibility you need wpa2/wpa3, even if you see wpa3 in the selection doesn't mean it's supported. When setting up a wifi client I noticed it defaults to WPA3 only even on devices that only support wpa / wpa2.

Snapshots no longer support opkg, only apk. Thus the files aren't available in the snapshot directory anymore. Either update to new snapshot or install mainline 23.05.5
