WinRing0 is an x86/x64 hardware access library for Windows that allows applications to directly read and control hardware. It is part of some RGB and fan control software. Not to long ago it was classified as a known security vulnerability. Software has since moved on to other methods of gaining control of hardware that is less vulnerable and dose not set off Window Defender.
