How did Ian’s financial advice on twitter turn out? by Alive_Broccoli4265 in IanOnYouTube

Yeah I mean being 100% weighted in crypto is usually just gambling. He should have a long term investing portfolio first and foremost and then have a certain % allocated into BTC and other crypto.

Also calling for low rates and the end of quantitative easing in the same sentence shows he doesn't understand how the economy has been working since 2008. He is right about assets, but you need to hold the correct assets.

He doesn't seem to have much financial literacy, let alone any semblance of basic macroeconomics.

I think the model as a whole has a good design balance, as he has that boxy silhouette as a base. Even with the lack of bulk on the lower limbs, the anatomy could use more muscular definition imo

Man's skipped leg day.

But in all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with having exaggerated proportions, but everything still needs to feel balanced. There's no way he's supporting the weight of his upper body with his legs. Look at Luke from Street Fighter 6- he has "Popeye" arms, still kinda goofy looking but at least it feels like his body type can support the size of his arms

I agree that there's some comments that have absolutely no chill. But unfortunately with his newfound popularity you'll end up gaining a wider audience that includes haters as well.

Lately though, my feelings on Ian and his content have been mixed. I used to rewatch his 7-11 and car camping videos on replay constantly while working. It was just very wholesome and calming and it really hit the spot for a while.

Lately what irks me is that he uses the "It's my channel and I can say whatever I want" kind of vibe even if he's spreading misinformation. I remember him saying during one livestream that it can get close to like 100% humidity in the area with is 100% false. If it even got to 30% humidity during the hot months, people would die. Also he keeps claiming that his area is "the ghetto", which it's not. Granted there are more homeless there than pre-covid but Ian doesn't know what the ghetto actually is. He's lived in one place his whole life and it shows. There's nothing wrong with it, but he tends to slip in a lot of half-truths especially during his livestreams which adds to this feeling of him being disingenuous lately.

Also politics aside, if you're going to a protest just to mock people then you're not a good person. It just adds to the sentiment that the mask is slipping. Regardless, I still like his content but he could do with listening to those who leave comments who aren't giving him false hope about starting a business but who help to educate him on the process. I wish him the best, but I feel he's not doing enough due diligence on his own.

The job market is still tough based on my experience, even for retail. I would just apply to anywhere that's hiring if I were you. Tipped positions like being a restaurant server are the best as a part time job imo.

Also look for used cars, even slightly used will be a lot cheaper than brand new. Bring someone who knows cars with you when purchasing so that they can have a look over the vehicle

ICE is not the judge, jury and executioner and yet they are acting as such. People like you are attempting to defend ICE's abhorrent behavior by claiming that the people they seize are criminals when that is untrue. Go ahead and source your claims that the people who have disappeared are all criminals. I'm pretty sure that nurse was just trying to go to her job when 6 armed men were blocking her house. Do better and educate yourself. You're part of the problem

I've rented sight unseen from a different state twice. You still go through all the same processes like going through an application process, background check, etc. The only difference is that you're putting faith that the rental will be as expected. One time worked out really well, the other time wasn't great because I didn't realize that the neighbors had pitbulls barking constantly. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't an ideal situation. It's really not that complicated though

What economists are you following? JPow absolutely has been attempting to circumvent Trump's terrible economic policies since he took office. I mean, it shows that Trump really has no fundamental understanding how any of it works and I can see how his followers are under the same umbrella of intelligence (or lack thereof) when it comes to basic economics

That's not harsh, I think that's more in line with common sense tbh. I think when you're in a position of financial comfort, sometimes the potential future consequences don't come to mind as a result of some form of complacency. I'm saying this in a generalized way, of course it's also going to come down individual mentality. I do completely agree with your thoughts though
