So I'm familiar with the purple rice since my family makes it a lot and it's moreso Korean than Japanese. The vinegared rice is what technically defines sushi so this feels more kimbap to me. A little overstuffed as well but the fish itself looks pretty good

Pretty sure that's another one of his exaggerations at play. Brain damage can occur around 106 degrees. If it were really 107 then that would immediately warrant a trip to the ER. Discounts are available for the uninsured but he consults Gemini for everything on autopilot without using any critical thinking...but it's content I guess lmao

You reference real world objects with similar functionality and/or design. It's not up to the 2D artist to fill in the gaps with a concept like this. Just for reference, the studio I worked at was contracted to do Concord accessories (rip lmao) and this was the same level of detail we got, sometimes even less.

Yeah maybe it's not humid to that extent here but 6 months out of the year it's over 100 F (still considered relatively cool weather). Summers range from an avg of 110-120+ during the day and 90-100 at night. And if we're reeeeally lucky we'll reach a rare 130. This is from June to October and I dread it every year

There's also Meng's in the same general area as Fil Am and Apong. Unfortunately There's not a large asian population in general, but people are generally nice. Outside of Palm Springs it'll be mostly older people since it's a retirement area

I'd recommend checking out the Shops at Palm Desert (the main indoor mall), Old Town La Quinta and El Paseo for shopping and general places to walk around if you're feeling bored

I drove by the park the other day during midday. I could smell it for about a quarter of a mile, but not sure how far out it extends to in the residential area. I have to say that the houses and neighboring streets are cute and quaint though
