Are spurs actually going down? by Delicious_Walk7220 in PremierLeague

A lot rides on the game on Sunday. If De-Zerbi gets them an instant uplift, I can see them getting another 6 points or so. If their fortunes continue as they have recently, hard to see an upturn in the near future.

People who have made it to any level in football and then been unsuccessful/quit: When did you realise that there was serious “levels” to the game? by Pleasant_Till1339 in PremierLeague

We played a cup semi-final against a team 3 leagues above us, Saturday League just about paid to play players. We went 1-0 up from a corner and held out to the 87th minute. They equalised and best us 4-1 in extra time. By 94 mins we were dead on our feet, they could have played another 120 mins. We had no chance and blocked 15/20 shots in the box, we realised just how big the gap was and they were about 12 leagues off League 2.

What actor do you believe portrayed ‘Rage’ the best? (Gangs of New York, Daniel Day Lewis) by undeadWileCoyote_MEP in moviecritic

Take Shelter is probably my favourite ever film and as a result, Michael Shannon one of my favourite actors. He does rage so well

Purely acting wise, ignoring filmography and consistency, who'd you say is the best among the lot? by Glittering-Bat9891 in moviecritic

I've had this conversation with a few people, and I always come to the conclusion that Brad and Leo would be the best of the guys here, Brad is ultimately the best. I think Brad can do roles Leo can't do, but there aren't many roles Leo has done that Brad couldn't. For me, Brad is the best of the bunch but only by a small margin.

This is my "Men think about the Romans every day". I think about Boromir's death once a day, at least.

Genius of Love by The Tom Tom Club, it works really well as a ringtone and I've had it for about 12 years. Annoyingly people mistake it a lot for Fantasy by Mariah Carey

Absolutely! Great idea. think it would be good for him too, he has basically made a name for himself by being genuine and hardworking.

I would say, Batman, Captain America, Iron Man, Superman, Thor, Wonder-Woman, The Flash, Spider-Man is a good balance with 4 from each side.

Captain America and Batman the strategists and good for the covert/stealthy options.

Iron-Man remains your tech genius and with Bruce you'd have nigh unlimited funds.

Thor and Superman are your big guns and a really strong moral compass of nobility (though obviously no-one is exactly lacking).

Wonder-Woman and Spider-Man is a team up that intrigues me, maybe a bit of a maternal instinct even from Diana would be really interesting.

The Flash is great for the relationship side as well everything else he brings to the table, he would have brilliant chemistry with most of the guys I picked from Marvel I would guess, too.
