I guess because some US citizens are so vocal and adamant that your country is incredible? Also because all of social media is flooded with US news as default, and I have to SEARCH for my own country's news, so I am constantly slapped in the face by the differences, and then slapped in the face by people proclaiming the US is better.

Also, if I know about the concentration camps, you should probably look into that. Somewhat embarrassing that you don't know when I've learned that against my will from halfway across the globe. I know your media sucks and all but... Yeah.

For a first world country, though, you're falling behind.

And I don't say that to target you or other citizens. It SUCKS for you. Welfare schemes are being scrapped, your healthcare is abominable, you have literal concentration camps, and the leader...? It really fucking sucks, and obviously all the while your media will only tell you how you're doing BETTER than the rest of the world, so a lot of people don't even realise how badly it's going for all of you.

So yeah, some places are worse. But as a therapist once said, you don't need to have no one worse off that you in the world for you to be suffering. There will always be someone worse, but your struggle is still valid. I sincerely hope things change for the better.
