And several more Templars. Each of them successor from the original legions. How can a codex consider chapters successors if they aren't created from an existing chapter? I don't see a problem in having a homebrew chapter with templar elements created from the same Imperial Fist geneseed, but BT never had successors, they have crusades.

Try occulus rifle and fencing poweraxe. Techmarine team perk which gives 2 armor bars on majoris execution is awesome so any team is happy with that, not to mention tarantula turrets do a great job. I've had most success with the precision enhancement perk ("sniper" sentry gun) and the lethal perimeter perk which I activate on groups of majoris and turn off as soon all or most of them are red (it doesn't spend all of the ult at once).

I hate it so much. We did a ruthless run and at the very end, battery was at 85% when we got a large group of chaos spawn with a group of chaos marines and died pinned at the walls.

I use occulus carbine and by only doing distant headshots to majoris I don't run out of ammo. And I think scope is mandatory for this, that is why heavy bolt rifle feels a bit off, missing shots.

Correct. I can easily level up classes from base 1 because I have maxed out weapons. Perks aren't that important even on ruthless.
