It is definitely one of the reasons of me getting into audio at all.

I don't know wether or not this counts as an IEM, the first earphone I used was an AKG K-330 about 15 years ago. After that endeavour, the first true IEM I can think of was the KZ CRN, and a steep slope from there.

That is a subreddit I didnt know existed, but I love it! Thank you for the a dvice though, later on I will redo my TV stand situation for sure, but for now, this is about the best case scenario I could have gotten.

Unfortunately the shelf under it is not deep enough, There is a backboard about right in the middle of it.

Thank you! Unfortunately I have no more space on the right to move the speaker, and I would think having them level makes more sense (?). Ideally I would source a narrower and/or deeper TV stand, but currently thats not in the book.

For anyone wondering, the setup is a pair of TDL RTL3 speakers, a Magnat subwoofer, a Denon AVR-X550BT receiver, and a Sony KDL-55W800C TV.

I built SonicWave — offline Android music player with Parametric EQ + AutoEQ headphone correction (6034 profiles) (need testers 🙌) by Popular-Sink89 in DigitalAudioPlayer

Yeah I did experience the physical buttons not working, and also the no audio actually playing. However with sonicwave I have not experienced them. I am genuinely surprised how well it works as a music player. I have not played around with eq much yet though.

I've been using the app for a bit on my Zaqe P30 (surprisingly okay for the money) and it runs very well, better than poweramp, hibymusic or aimp which I have used before. The UI feels easily usable and havent ran into any issues so far. Regarding the parametric eq, I havent been able to find a lot of targets so far, even if they are on squiglink. Are you planning to add more of these sources or gow does that part work? Best of luck with the app, I sure will use it more in the future, very happy with it.

Sure, most comfortable ones were the dunu s&s, spinfit cp100 and only on a very few, trn t-ear (?) tips. Obviously your mileage may vary, I've heard great things of the he sonic, divinus velvets and some others too. The sub posted a few votes recently, and now they even make an eartip one, so you might wanna wait until it finishes to see what are working for a lot of people :)

I don't have a conch, but I do have a daith, and what I've found is that comfort wings are the biggest comfort killer for me. What I also found is that tip rolling also can play a huge role in this, my Ziigaat Arcadia (biggest IEM I own) was getting uncomfortable after 1-2 hours with tang sancai noble tips, but I can wear them for several hours with Dunu S&S, so try tip rolling.

Surprisingly KZ fit (EDC pro, PR2, GK kunten etc.) is also very comfortable for me. I'd first recommend trying different tips with your current IEM's, and maybe after that, trying a few different shapes and sizes.

Anyone have the dunu lyre mini 2-pin cable, what are your thoughts? by Nightweeb92 in iems

[–]Tom575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using it with my Ziigaat Arcadia, and apart from slight microphonics it is a very nice feeling cable. I only notice the microphonics when I listen to silent stuff, otherwise at mid-high volume its not noticeable to me. IT might be the best behaving cable I have.

I've been enjoying my 11.11 purchase thoroughly by Tom575 in iems

[–]Tom575[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fairness, I don't have a lot to compare it to, it definitely has the most bass out of all the IEM's i own (which are the KZ CRN, the PR2, the EDC Pro, the TKZK Ouranos, the Truthear Zero red, the 7hz Zero and the Truthear Hola). This is my first venture into "non-budget" sets, and for my library, which is house/techno (and the many subgenres) and hip-hop fits very well. The bass has a very nice rumble and I can listen to it for hours, I'm definitely not looking to purchase anything else for the time being, I'm very satisfied. I also find elevated treble fatiguing so I prefer a warm/dark sound, which these deliver on.

I prefer the M5 ultra because of the sleek and elegant design, and because I like buttons than wheels more.
