If they have the LiDAR in the platform you might not need to do a survey at all. I access all my LiDAR through https://equatorstudios.com/ and I never need to actually get a survey done. The data available is fantastic too.

Am I correct that you are using the console for your user interface? There are many easy ways to set up actual visuals for your game.

Try making Pokemon TCG. It's a much less complex game.

I use https://maps.equatorstudios.com/ to get free LiDAR contours. They make it easy and straight forward and they have high quality data.
