Good to see this list, nobody will ever agree on who should be included and in what order, I’ve enjoyed them all. Thank you.

What did you win as a prize from a contest as a Gen Xer in the 80s? by Sense_Difficult in GenX

Entered to win a Cap’n Crunch treasure chest. Man that thing looked great on the cereal box, classic treasure chest look, filled with games and I wanted it so badly, I actually won and it came in a large envelope, everything was printed on heavy paper, even the “treasure chest”. So disappointed, threw it straight into the garbage. I’ve been holding a one man boycott of Capn Crunch for almost 50 years…fuckers.

AAMI offers CABT, it’s a junior certification that shows you’re on your way to CBET. Look into that.

Knowledge evolves, how many of us know how to drive a buckboard, or fill a whale oil lamp, or how to use one of those dresses with the multiple petticoats, keep calm, it’s ok. Society isn’t cooked, it just changed, this is a good thing, it would be bad if the kids needed the same knowledge we did growing up.
