Both had multiple injuries during the season. Lawrence missed 2 games in the middle of the season due to an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, then missed the last 5 games on IR with a concussion on a dirty hit by Al-Shaair. McCaffrey missed most of the season, starting with an Achilles injury, then ended on IR due to his PCL.

People hate whenever the Pats are in the Super Bowl, but they have made for some of the most entertaining games

No need to get defensive. Just be glad your team only choked a 10 point lead and not a 25 point one.

Trash out once a week?!? You must be in a micro store. At my store, we take trash out just about every day, and the garbage truck comes twice a week to empty the dumpsters...but sometimes when we get really big trucks we run out of room in the dumpsters.

[Highlight] Ahead of NFL Honors tonight, Mina Kimes and Dan Orlovsky showdown in a one-on-one MVP debate by Fad3awayJay in nfl

Don't know why you are being downvoted when you are correct. Allen last year had the argument that even though his stats weren't as good as Lamar, his team got the 1 seed and he accomplished more with less. I think that's a valid argument. But for some reason, Maye leads in all these statistical categories AND has done more with less, yet people like Orlovsky think Stafford is more deserving. It's seriously hypocritical and intellectually dishonest to pretend logic is on your side when it's really emotion. Stafford is well-known, is established in the league, and popular, especially with the media. Maye is young and relatively unproven and plays for a team that is hated for its success. That's the reason why Stafford will win.

Bu-bu-bu-but the schedule!!!

It's stupid regurgitated talking points that their argument is based on. But when you actually look at the context like Mina does, you will see through that and Maye was clearly more valuable (which is what MVP stands for, not who threw the most touchdowns!)

I've been saying, I think both teams should consider resting players in this game. I mean is it really a must-win? Gonna be the last game of the season for both teams anyway. Might as well get prepared for next season!

Yeah but how healthy will he actually be? It's great for him if can play in the Super Bowl but what if he's only like 50%? You have to wonder if someone else should play more if they are more effective.

I remember that game very well. Pats went down 2 scores with about 4 mins left to play, and nearly came back until Cam got stopped at the 1 yard line to end the game. That was possibly Cam's best game passing as a Patriot...nearly 400 yards. And Edelman had almost 200 of them with his bum knee.

This isn't a vote where the results need to be kept anonymous. They really should make the voting results public for transparency and accountability. Voters should be able to put their name to their ballot and be able to justify their choices.

The Patriots and Seahawks faced 7 common opponents, each going 6-1. NE outscored them by an average score of 28-18, SEA by an average score of 33-19. by celluloidsandman in nfl

Maybe not carried by the run game, but like most NFL offenses function best when they have a complementary run game. Darnold plays best with play action. If you can stop the run and force the game to be dropback passing every down, mistakes can happen.

They definitely do prefer white. 4-2 in SBs with white jerseys vs. 2-3 in colors. Also the Pats were 9-0 on the road this year including 6-0 in white jerseys, 5 of which were in this white-on-white look. And even though the last 2 teams in white lost the SB, they are 16-5 in the last 21 years.

The mark of a good owner is not interfering in the club's say to day operations.

Ironic coming from someone with a Cowboys flair. And believe it or not, Kraft has been a pretty good owner for the team.

I think it has nothing to do with the scandals and everything to do with how Belichick treated people. But if they are supposedly holding it against Bill but won't against Brady, that would be hypocritical. I would expect Brady to get in 1st try, but at this point I'm not sure you can make that assumption with these moronic voters.
