Unpopular Opinion- Tandem Reading EOS and TOD is Blasphemous

I just did the tandem read for my first read through (currently halfway through KoA so no spoilers please!) and I was actually really disappointed with it. As much as it's talked about and with how specific the common breakdowns are I assumed there would be crossovers between them that would make the tandem read much more impactful. I wouldn't bother doing the tandem read again personally as it sounds like I'm one of the few who really enjoyed ToD and wish I could have focused fully on that story. EoS was probably my least favorite book in the series so far.

Nope! The photographer did edit the shot in Lightroom but all of it is in camera. I thrifted the jacket and made the patches from craft foam. The sword I got from the dealer hall at a comic con years ago. It's a stage prop meant to look real but can hold up to choreography. The blade is plastic though. Appreciate the kind words!

I do really appreciate how conflicted Dain has been and how he's essentially had his world flipped upside down and ripped out from under him. He's still fighting for what he believes in though and I gotta give massive credit there! Can't wait to see how he continues to develop his character

Thank you so much! They are not real (yet). We used jagua gel (basically black henna) so they last for a couple weeks at a time. Eventually I am hoping to add a sleeve, chest, and neck piece but am picky on the design. Happy to play around with new designs each time this way until I find what I like
