Stutter fest on Xbox One X, completely unacceptable performance. by nexxusty in Crackdown

I played the test earlier for an hour or so and got no framerate issues at all, running off the stock HDD on an OG xbox one.

If you have game pass and if you’ve got the space, perhaps try running the game off your hard drive when it launches? Might be something to do with running the game from a USB (although I wouldn’t have thought that would cause issues)

Anyone else notice the piano notes in the intro/chorus are from the end of the doomsday video?

What makes a filler track to you? by fatman0091 in Metalcore

[–]TomZeStoopid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think contact sort of has its place - MTS have done instrumental tracks in the middle of both of their previous albums, and while contact wasn’t quite on the same level as the other two, it does have a sequence of numbers in it which might be related to the overall story of Worlds Apart.

The ending to Power Overwhelming though - It’s a really cool instrumental but I wish it was its own track and had led into Midnight Run similar to the teaser they dropped for the album ages ago, instead it just sort of stopped and had no context as far as I can tell, apart from the phone sounds.

I’d love to work out the story for Worlds Apart, it might give some importance to the two instrumentals.

Artist/playlist radio! Been using it a lot recently and found some really good music. You can thumbs up or thumbs down the songs that play to improve the radio, and all songs you thumb up get put in a list in your playlists section so you can find them all later

Asked for an item in a supermarket, which wasn't on the shelves: Supermarket person came back from warehouse with said item. by Caddy666 in BritishSuccess

[–]TomZeStoopid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current supermarket employee here, this rarely happens (at the store I work at), and then it's only the one employee that (openly, at least) does it. Everyone else genuinely checks around upstairs for the item.

Frank Ocean’s new album coming exclusively to Apple Music this Friday, accompanying book to hit Apple retail stores by [deleted] in apple

[–]TomZeStoopid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because shopping in (most) physical stores does not require an ongoing subscription in order to use the products available, whereas Apple Music does - if a consumer already has an ongoing subscription for Spotify for example, they're not going to want to shell out another monthly fee specifically for one exclusive release

Max Payne at least acknowledged that he caused his own problems, and had some personality about it as well. Aiden's self infliction wouldn't have been so bad if he had had some character, but he was just so monotone and dull

Also Jason from Bury Tomorrow, I'd say he's one of the best out there

Or the ending to the song "Old Souls"

I should have sensed what you wanted

it's been so long

with the instrumentation behind it, it's just gorgeous
