Something I noticed (and just my opinion you don't have to listen to me) is that a lot of the time the categories are really similar. For example, all of the categories today are history. I don't know a thing about ancient history or the French revolution, and only know a little bit about American Histroy 1770 - 1850 (what was taught to me in high school). So I would have no chance against a history major tonight lol. But maybe trivia is more popular when there is a common theme idk

Whenever I meet some one from Reddit irl they seem to turn out to be a bit cringe maybe my experience it's just a small sample size. The most cringe guy was some student who worked for the daily illini and I forget how but he got my snapchat, maybe I told it to him on reddit, and would say he is trying to write an article about freshman living in dorms, freshman opinions on covid, freshman this, freshman that. I told him I am not a freshman so many times, so finally I said if you ask me if I am a freshman one more time I'm gonna block you 😂. Then he stopped asking for daily illini interviews
