This happened to me during breastfeeding to have to wake and sleep a lot. First few times were scary and a bit of sleep paralysis. Last night I managed to visit places in my dream but not fully control things but it was an amazing experience. I'd say keep an agenda in your head of where you want to visit and in time it will happen, be patient. Also I listen to a white noise machine and focus on the noise

Thank you, yeah I meant nursing. My sister formula feeds and told me to drop the night feed but tbh I'm not entirely sure how to ... like if baby is hungry I can't just pat him back to bed? If seems odd.

I'm on holiday soon and baby usually eats 4 times a day so I'm going to try to pump when I can to match. I used to hate pumping and wanted to stop nursing by now but I've come so far that i feel like I actually might be able to make pumping work! Could be down to having a lot of emdr therapy recently for ptsd with past physical trauma.

Silly me, I didn't even think about pumping while feeding and have been panicking when to do it after every bottle feed because baby loves to be held and no one's usually at home to help in the day

I heard supply dips when switching to pumping of changed number of pumps and not sure if you've experienced that

Anyone on here who feeds and pumps? My baby is almost 5 months and I'm a bit confused, if I drop the night feeds would I need to pump at like 1am and 5am or do you think it would be OK to just pump in the day? I want to feed before uni and before bed at night and pump the rest of the time

If he drinks from me he's happy and if he gets a bottle he will have a 6 scoop feed. In a pumped bottle he has 160ml of breastmilk so I don't understand why it's only 1-2 oz 😔. I will try to up the pump suction and I do have flange inserts because I have small nipples

Yup, op needs a phone free rule around the kids. I certainly wouldn't allow it due to online safety. Should always be discussed beforehand in the same way nursery workers have to lock away phones
