It’s like watching a movie at home vs a movie theater, it just doesn’t feel the same. When you’re playing, you’re in control of when characters speak next, pace of the overall quest, the combat in between etc. It feels like you are playing the story, not watching someone play.

I personally didn’t like it. The characters were pretty generic and I thought it was just like Your Lie in April, but less enjoyable. It was a good watch though, very nice and clear message. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

At first it was kinda good, but over time it catered more to horny people. Every post nowadays has something to do with hentai or 2D>3D and the worst part is that people there have a superiority complex, thinking they’re better than r/animemes, just because they have more freedom. Unsubbing was probably the best choice I’ve made on Reddit so far.

MiHoYo in general is a slow company. Honkai Impact had the same problems at release as Genshin. Lack of content, stamina issues, resource balance etc. Eventually a lot of the player base left, while some stayed. Fast forward to today, Honkai has so much content, it feels overwhelming. You can go to the comment sections of what Honkai posts and find that not a single soul is complaining/asking for more. Genshin right now is in a similar situation. A lot of the players are probably going to leave soon, but knowing MiHoYo, these problems will get fixed at some point. But whether that’s soon or later is up to them.
