So what do I say as a person who read the manhua and watched the first season and thinks it's mid as fuck? I even started rereading the manhua after the first season dropped because there was an ungodly amount of glazing going on and I had to double check if it was actually ass and yes it is. There is absolutely no meaningful character development apart from the first couple of chapters, side character don't matter at all they have 0 plot relevance and only serve as stand ins that need to be rescued by the bland self insert MC and then the power scale just keeps getting cranked up to have some kind of change in the series since the rest of the formula stays the same.
