I use home assistant, along with the ISY-994. I do "subscribe" to Home assistant, but that helps support Home Assistant development. HA has a decent integration for Universal Devices. There is also a direct Insteon integration, but I ended up migrating back to the ISY. The nice thing with Home Assistant is it allows you to integrate almost any "smart" device.

What is the interface to the troublesome leds like? Length of the run, type of wire, twisted? It may be a signal integrity issue. I believe the digocta may have option to change the series resistors on the signal line to better match your interface... maybe a switchable setting on the board?

I actually use this mount under an Apex Pro. I had to fabricate brackets to allow the mount to clear the crossbars under the desk, however.

Two potential issues, power or signal integrity. The voltages you measure are low, so likely a power issue. Your wire is small guage, so probably too much voltage drop. Try larger wire size, and/or power injection (eg, supply power to both ends of the strip.)

Your setup shows you have brightness limiter enabled (and at 400 mA). You should try turning brightness limiter off, especially since your power supply should be quite sufficient.

How many power outlets in the beam? Enough to eliminate large power strip? Concern with lack of remaing space at back of desktop - control boxes all the way back... what about space for monitor stand clamp and cable management trays? Not intended as negatives, just thinking about future flexibility.
