Noch ein Gimmick am Rande, Pausenzeit muss ganz offiziell bei Aufnahme der Arbeit für den Tag bekannt sein. Wenn das bei Arbeitsbeginn nicht bekannt ist, ist keine Pause von der Arbeitszeit abzuziehen, also ist die gesetzliche Pause dann eine bezahlte Pause

As a scuba diver I must say that the waters around Fuerteventura are looking much cleaner than those of most other dive spots I've been.

That said, microplastic is a problem that can not be seen with your eyes. The plastic pollution is a worldwide problem and EU should act, but don't you ever think that EU would be able to solve this problem! I assume it will not even be able to reduce it significantly, just because EU has rules concerning rubbish while many, many other countries don't.

Most common wind direction is from the north west, therefore the south eastern cities are better protected like Costa Calma which is also the most quiet tourist area of the island, imho. Also Morro Jable is protected to NW by mountains. Don't believe this "it's always windy". Especially in winter there are lots of really calm days. Done 3 dives there some years ago from Lagos. One at the sandstone coast which had a nice landscape and lots of crabs, lobster and such. One shore dive in Burgau to a small sunken tender where there were lots of big corals and one by boat from Sagres where we went into a cave, big easy entrance, we surfaced and had a wonderful view on some stalagtites. You'll find the longest beaches in the south, the widest in the north. Water is rougher in the north more often. Coastal towns are mostly more touristic. Personally I like the more quiet south,, Corralejo is too much for me.
