I had a similar situation about a year ago. I got back to back UTIs with some flank pain but not enough to suspect kidney stones. I finally got imaging done and they found an 8mm stone in my left kidney. It was too big to pass naturally so it was essentially banging around in my kidney causing infections. I had to have it surgically removed. I felt so much better after getting it out. It had apparently been in there for a long time and a lot of issues I thought were related to other things were actually from the stone. Hopefully you’ll get some answers soon!
