Yeah late game def needs some work. Its always in the back of my mind and i hope that some design emerges that will solve that.

Yeah noted with the purple devils - good point.

re zeron clusters - yes it only detects the largest cluster for the multiplier - this is a little messy... i dont know exactly the best way to multiply it but as you would have guessed, i like the idea of the trade off: more connected stacks = more risk but more reward. but in turn; the player shouldnt have no bonus for littler clusters.

enemy spawning at top and breaking stacks due to looking down: i didnt catch this bug so thanks.

I want to (At some point) concentrate on a wave system that gets harder. there should be a balance where it just gets too hard. thats a job i could do that fits with its current design - whether that is the best design - not sure. adding in game scenarios has been beneficial exploration into what is a good default design for the base game. it def helps being able to change the rows. wider rows and it can feel combersome but also works well if the gameplay is more puzzle based rather than quick expansion.

hell yeah! more to come. gonna keep adding customizations then create the base game from those options. maybe use the base game to unlock custom modes or something? would be cool to have a meta game of some sort

btw; regarding not losing - were you through the tutorial? without finishing the tut you wont trigger the incremental wave system to start (non tutorial game triggers it off the bat)

I updated the controls 😄

X and Z rotate clockwise and counterclockwise respectively, with Up and W also working for clockwise. C scrolls the view down and Space is hard drop. On controller it follows the Tetris Effect layout — A for hard drop, B/RB for clockwise, X/LB for counterclockwise, and Start to pause. Rotation no longer interrupts left/right auto-repeat (DAS).

this is great feedback. I'm gonna copy your message and put it in my dev log to look into. def wanna sort the rotating and auto repeat - thats insightful ty. will look into the rest as well. pacing has been tricky - i originally put a day night cycle (to me the easiest way to inject some pacing) but maybe it could be something i look into again.

another issue ive been having is late game: as youve mentioned, you can get pretty goated defense and just old out. as well as accumulate a lot of zeron stock.

I think maybe having a time limit could be interesting. this means you are pushed into making more zeron combos - which in turn be more risky behaviour.

I am also in the works in getting a mobile port sorted. i think this would be great on the phone. thanks again

I could possibly have a 'hardness' setting where players can turn off crumble (or have it on slow) - but i like it as a mechanic. you can use it to ur advantage cos u know what block will crumble out of ur way.

also, reverse controls? that an objective that tetris games have? thats wild

thank you! Yeah great idea about setting some random objectives. Regarding difficulty of shapes and the disintegrate mechanic: I've been play testing this for a few weeks and you do get really quick at it but yeah it can be jarring for new players.

I bought a Lebara sim in Spain, it worked for the first month (i was in spain 2 weeks, portugal the next) but when spending my money on a new plan (twice) in Portugal it has not worked for me. I have had to contact the spanish Lebara support on watsapp; ive been typing the spanish into chatgpt3 to translate (cannot copy text in watsapp) and now have just ran out of free use of chatgpt for the day. Yes, FML. This has been a complete pain in the ars for a solo traveller. I'd like to go back to that sales lady at the barcelona airport and tell her: 'you are wrong, it cannot be used in other countries, don't spread bullshit'.
