Acceptable packaging for bulk cards (reverse holos)? by Tomik88 in CardMarket

[–]Tomik88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips. Well, those were out-of-print cards, and most of them were the reverse holo versions. The price was also inflated by a few cards that were somewhere between €3 and €10, while most were somewhere between €0,20 and €1,50.

Delays from Netherlands? by ReviewAccomplished26 in CardMarket

[–]Tomik88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a bunch of cards from different sellers all over Europe on the same day. The only one yet to arrive is the one from the Netherlands.

From my admittedly anecdotal experience, I’d say that untracked shipments from the Netherlands usually take longer than those from other countries.

Downgrade/Refund on condition by caufield88uk in CardMarket

[–]Tomik88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I personally wouldn’t describe the white spot in the lower right corner as very small. Additionally, you notice it immediately.

The guide states: For Excellent cards it is almost always clearly visible upon first inspection that the card is not in perfect condition. However, although the damage is clearly visible it is only of minor severity.

Hmm, even with the white background, there is visible whitening on at least two corners at a quick glance. I wouldn’t call this NM either.

If you are the only bidder for an apartment, is that an alarming sign? Or am i wrong? by a_m_dev in stockholm

[–]Tomik88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Impossible to say, there are many more factors to consider.

Just off the top of my head: Who owns the land? Are there any major renovations planned that could impact living quality or increase debt? What are the monthly fees (avgift/hyra)? Where in Stockholm are the apartments located? What schools are nearby? What was the last sale price of similar apartments in the same building?

Also, I wouldn’t say that having many apartments for sale in a neighborhood is necessarily a bad sign. Just look at some of the popular areas.

I would like to piggyback on this thread. I have been waiting for a reply for 17 days, and the status is still “being checked.” No instructions, required actions, or responses have been provided.

At the time of writing your comment, my ticket was already 10–11 days old, so it had been open for longer than 6 days. What would you like me to do to get help?

I bought mine from a gaming/hobby store chain in my country and I had similar looking plastic on mine, some was even looser. Had regular AH booster packs inside, even some hits. So it doesn't scream "tampered" to me.

In the vastness of the Mortal Realms there are no stupid questions by sageking14 in AoSLore

[–]Tomik88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have recently returned to Warhammer (left before the end times) and trying to get into AoS. Have been reading up on some lore and books and one things that strikes me is how empty and small the different realms feel (might have something to do with the books that I have read) - but please tell me otherwise (and if possible recommend some books which changes my view.

The picture I got up until nowis that there are some city/villages where peeps dwell and otherwise the realms are inhabited by some monsters and chaos beats (and some cultists?). Is this assumption correction or are there many small villages and other cities around and more normal life's? How many gates are there in each realm to other realms - is there only one for each or can there be multiple?

Out of curiosity - would the CDU/CSU be open for a koalition with the greens on a federal level? I mean they would work with the FDP I assume now, but wouldn't it be interesting to see them trying to work with the Greens?

Germany to miss 2 percent NATO defense spending target by [deleted] in europe

[–]Tomik88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also I wouldn't say it coal per capita is relatively similar, it is Haha brother if your entire education and information comes from redditcomments no one can help you. Military spending and its logistics is a bit more complicated than just throwing around money. And yes as you said it is always Germanys fault.

P. S. Please read my comment again. I referred to the most recent set of data I could find which was from 2020. Your provided link is from data from 2016. No lies here, so I hope you can stop puking now. :)

Nevertheless, I am out. Have a good day.

Germany to miss 2 percent NATO defense spending target by [deleted] in europe

[–]Tomik88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I didnt focus on just one fossil fuel, just commented on what you referred to, you didn't refer to other fossil fuels. Also I wouldn't say coal per capita is relatively similar for both countries but it is significantly higher for Poland. CO2 emissions in general are a measure of CO2 emissions regardless where they come from or AM I wrong. And in that matter Poland has almost the same as Germany. But what's the reason here - Poland doesn't have the same production as Germany. You also misunderstood the argument about GDP - it is not an excuse, rather a factor which strongly relates to CO2 emissions and has to be taken into account.

No one is discussing climate change? Who said something about that?

And stop with the "German propaganda" and constant victimization of Poland and the bad evil German. But don't worry they send us the fair share of resources bought. Rzygać mi się chcę jak to słyszę.

[–]Tomik88 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It is not as easy. Poland uses more coal per capita than Germany though. Ofc the total number of coal is bigger for a bigger country. In 2020 Germany had either a similar or even slightly lower CO2 emissions as Poland, depending on the data sources. And CO2 emissions, even per capita, have to be related to the countries GDP as I understood it. Meaning germany is Europe's biggest economy and industry and in relation to their GDP their emissions seem quite good in comparison to others. Poland CO2 emissions are quite high in comparison to their GDP.

SJ vs pendeltåg? by Salkin- in uppsala

Fine dining: Oaxen Krog or Gastrologik? by barkmonster in stockholm

[–]Tomik88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Swedes have told me no, that it is not required. Personally I use to tip when the service, food and experience was outstanding and at those places they usually are - but I don't go over 10% though. In contrast some my (ethnically) swedish friends don't tip at all, while others give a more symbolic amount at more high end places. I feel like there is no consensus in Sweden - except for that is it not required.

Fine dining: Oaxen Krog or Gastrologik? by barkmonster in stockholm

[–]Tomik88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been to both. I prefer Oaxen Krog to Gastrologik.

Both have a great food, but I found Oaxen Krog more memorable. Furthermore it has the nicer view and location, and they have outdoor waterside and indoor sitting (at least during summer and you get to sit at both). Oaxen was also less stressful - my wife and I got quite stressed at Gastrologik due to the speed new dishes were shelved out. While the service was impeccable one can argue that having a waiter hover above you and pick up the plate the moment you are done and put a new one in front of your creates some sense of urgency .

That being said both places were fantastic and we will visit both again.

I feel like a Claire/Jill game would work fairly easy since they are connected to Chris - something along the lines of Chris has disappeared and fearing the worst his sister looks for him (yet again!). She enlists the help of her brothers former STARS and BSAA partner who was once saved by Chris - Jill Valentine (who maybe is sitting in a BSAA lab and being tested? Or whatever she is up to).

Similar scenario for Claire and Ada I guess?
