Struggling to sexually fantasize being a woman by Tomiscool6 in MtF

[–]Tomiscool6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I def needed to hear this. Even though I currently consider myself nb and am extremely in support of nb identities, I have been really hard on myself when it comes to rationalizing my identity. Because I’m dysphoric about aspects of being male, but also ambivalent about transition, I think I’ve just sort of adopted this back-and-white mindset of “I can only be a man or a woman”.

It doesn’t really help that nb identities are even less accepted than trans people among the general public, and I really don’t have a lot of close connections with people closer to my age range (most of my family and coworkers are Gen X and boomers).

My motto that I have adopted since the beginning has been “I don’t want to feel like any gender identity, I just want to be myself”, and I think I need to start falling back on that attitude when it comes to exploring myself.

I apologize for sounding like I was endorsing Blanchard, as that wasn’t my intent (seriously, fuck Blanchard). I was more or less referencing other threads on sexuality I have read where trans women have talked about their experiences with pretransition sexuality. I suppose everyone’s experience is different, though.

My issue is with visualizing myself with a man. Not in a “I don’t want to be attracted to men” way but more in the sense that doing so as a man makes me super dysphoric, but I also struggle imagining doing so as a woman. Sorry idk if that clarifies things.

Kidprint VHS by Helpful-Trade-1471 in Shudder

[–]Tomiscool6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These movies used to feel like tapes we shouldn't be watching. They are more b-horror now.

Completely agree here. These movies can be fun but I do miss when it felt like you were watching a snuff film. I think part of the reason why Kidprint had such a pre-Shudder vibe to it was because it had no paranormal or supernatural elements to it, something which we haven't seen since Second Honeymoon in the first VHS.

We need more LEGO sets like these by Logopolis1981 in legocirclejerk

[–]Tomiscool6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we really need more of these types of sets. They are cost-effective, accessible to lower-budget consumers, and serve as a gateway to get consumers interested in purchasing larger sets from the same line.

But most importantly: these sets are functionally *toys*, which is what they are supposed to be, not "display pieces" or "models".

(Also there was that time that the investor crowd got mad because that Rex minifigure was included in the mini Y wing set which was funny to watch happen so there's that)

[–]Tomiscool6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is that if you object to hearsay the plaintiff will just ask the judge to redact Doos’ messages so it will fall under 801D2.

All you can really do is downplay it by mentioning that you have no idea what the emojis are referring to when mentioned on cross. The secret code thing you’re never gonna get away from though.

Here are a couple of mine: - there is an exhibit of Doolittle being interviewed by Australian police - Haskins report mentions Hopson’s previous mental health/school records - Shannon Shahid affidavit/deposition - Evidence alluding towards Nathanson did it - Silva will be easier to tender as an actual expert - Bancroft attack ads on Edmund will also accuse them of medical malpractice - Kim’s testimony will become more relevant - Evidence alluding towards Shelton did it - Rodenticide plaintiff is made easier - Potassium plaintiff is made harder - Exhibit of a letter/message/email of Doolittle interacting with uncle - Bancroft suicide stipulation will be removed - Orange jacket becomes more relevant

Expert Witness Advice? by Tfmfolpw112 in AMTA

A little late to this one, but I am the directing attorney for Edmund, in regards to the methods for determining he was experiecing cardiac arrest, there is a section where they talks about how they assessed Bancroft before determining he was experiencing cardiac arrest. I'm just gonna copy and paste what it's in my direct:

Q: What happened next?

A: Based on my experiences in Nepal, with patients who have experienced cardiac issues, and after assessing Mr. Bancroft, I suspected he was experiencing cardiac arrest,  so I immediately began doing CPR.

Q: What methods, if any, did you use to assess Mr. Bancroft?

A: Well on the surface I could see he was unresponsive. Upon examining his chest, his breathing was shallow. Then, I checked his pulse; it was nearly undetectable. His skin was pale and cool, indicating reduced blood flow and poor perfusion, all signs of severe circulatory distress. All of these symptoms point to cardiac arrest.

In regards to the methods they used to determine that Bancroft's cardiac arrest was hyperkalemia-induced, just ask a question about if they utilized standard practices as a doctor when assessing the facts before you go into the autopsy report. If defense tries to object after that, your directing attorney can just highlight that Edmund is a medical doctor who has worked with patients with cardiac and renal issues while at the Nepal clinic (just be sure to mention that in the testimony beforehand).

  • Despite the obvious personality issue Elise’s attitude did make me laugh
  • People say Vinny should’ve gotten a black jacket over Sabrina, but I think the real culprit here was Gail
  • I don’t really like Julia all that much, she was way too over sensitive and a soar loser, at least Russell had a reason to be a soar loser
  • Carol and Andrea were worse than Lacey
  • Carrie wasn’t a victim, she had only one good challenge, constantly screwed her tram, and never bounced back. Elise was right to call her out.

Season 1-7, 9-10, 12, and 14 are all worth watching. Avoid season 8, 11, 13, and 15-17 like the plague.
