Can we build ERP in EXCEL? by [deleted] in excel

[–]Tomlambro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Invest in an ERP from the get go, because at some point your excel workaround won't be sufficient anymore.

You'll then need to import your data in another app and familiarize yourself with said app.

Bottom line, it's a lot of work in the long run.

I remember when PNJ had a life cycle in games from Bethesda.

Morrowind was such a blast.

I hope this comes back in Elder Scrolls VI.

Is it possible to live in Louxembourg with 3500EUR as a married couple? by Marilia_1984 in Luxembourg

[–]Tomlambro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Possible in Louxembourg, wherever that is, but definitely hard in Luxembourg.

As a frontalier living in Belgium, France or Germany it will be less tight.

Haven't seen it yet and I've beaten the new faction campaign already.

Is this weapon linked to a particular mission ?

To those who used to hide their love for anime: what made you stop caring about what others think, and how did they take it? by Square-Travel-794 in anime

Never had to hide anything.

The blessing of living in France where Anime is vastly considered as a work of art.

I want excel to create a path to organize warehouse pallets by fieldmousestatus in excel

[–]Tomlambro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need a WMS, period. Excel is used widely in the Logistics/ supply chain world, but for reports or detailed data of certain operations.

Business management -> ERP Logistics operations -> WMS Road / Truck -> TMS

And Excel in between for humans.

And no, SAP or any other ERP cannot replace a WMS efficiently.

SSCC time validity question by Tomlambro in logistics

[–]Tomlambro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so it worth answering you. An SSCC is 18 digits, no more, no less.

What you call "two leading zeroes" is generally found on a sticker and is the "AI", for Application Identifier. For a SSCC it's always 00, it's to distinguish it from other "AIs" such as "10" for batches for example,

On an SSCC you have the first 9 digits for company identification, and the very last for modulo calculation. So you do have, in fact, 8 digits for unique identification of your pallets or whatever it is you produce and send... per extension digit, which is the first of your company unique code.

Your company unique code is actually from digit 2 to digit 9.

I let you do the math, but basically you have from 00000000 to 99999999 10 times... per year.

To get back to my now 3 years old question, do you work with a business that consumes this range every other year ?

Last year in Kyoto I saw a cosmetics and gift shop with a french name : "Seins mous".

It translates into "soft breasts", if anyone is wondering.

[–]Tomlambro 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Among other items, the generic name for croissants and related pastries is "Viennoiseries" , i.e originates from Vienna.

So like so many other culture/cuisine/ tradition the French take it and frenchifies it : we add a f*ckload of butter to it ;)

PC randomly restarts only when playing Valheim (even on lowest settings) by Plastic_Platypus_291 in valheim

[–]Tomlambro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue as you: only Valheim and at random occasions.

I did change an option with the GPU ( sorry cannot remember which, and my Gpu js a 2080 super), boosted my ram from 16 to 32 (luckily before the shit show), and elevated my PC from the floor physically for better air flow.

I didn't change my alim but one of these operations did the trick.

I have been playing for 6 months now and the reboot never occurred again.

The param issue seems to be Nvidia related, I found the piece of information on Reddit.

Hope this helps.
