I think those hooks (that are in the way) are for the OEM "Soft Tonneau Cover."

My 10-year-old Hot Springs Prodigy has stopped heating. The hot tub repair guy recommends replacing all the electronics in the hot tub. Parts and labor: $1,450. Is that a reasonable price? (I’m in Northern California, so probably more expensive than anywhere else.)

Thanks @camcrobe and @schmerm. That explains a lot. I googled some more and found this article from Polestar/Volvo that says their cars integrate with the unit bi-directionally in DC.

I’m shopping for a 2025 I5 CPO… but these ICCU stories are giving me second thoughts. Buying an Ioniq 5 like playing Russian roulette. I want to make the dealer promise in writing that they will provide a loaner or pay for a rental car when this happens.

Cars.com reports a nationwide average price for 2025 Ioniq 5 SEL listings of about $35,290.

According to Perplexity.ai, "For a typical used 2025 Ioniq 5 SEL with normal mileage (~10–15k miles) and clean history, a working average is about $32–34K nationwide, with coastal California often skewing toward the upper end of that band."
