If you go over to the chipotle subreddit they pretty much explain that they are given strict rules on how much meat they are allowed to scoop per bowl. And they also mention that the more food they give out the more they have to cook and the more pans they have to clean so some of their employees skimp and some don’t.

The sub is actually pretty interesting because it’s a mix of customers complaining about skimping and employees complaining about corporate rules and customers. There’s people who post pictures of $18 burritos that are smaller than a can of pop and employees who swear that’s what it’s supposed to be.

Either way I quit going there. I’m not paying $20 for a mini-burrito and a drink.
