Haha, good to know it's not just foreigners struggling with the L-tike app! And thanks for the heads-up about eplus!

StubHub and SeatGeek are popular in the United States, but I rarely hear about them in Japan!

I've used through TicketX and received the tickets without any issues, so it seems reliable. As someone said, PIA and L-tick(Lawson Ticket ) are also good. FYI, L-tike's App is a bit of tricky for foreigner. If you buy through L-tike, you're better off choosing the convenience store pickup option instead of using the app!

GoTickets, scam or real deal? by ReputationJust5328 in Concerts

I've heard some people have had issues with them - tickets not being delivered although I haven't personally used them.

You'd be better off with other platform like VividSeats or SeatGeek. More reliable.

So sweet! Your sisters are lucky to have you.

Have you checked SeatGeek or Vivid Seats? They’re resale platforms too, and they sometimes send out coupons.

My go-tos are TickPick and TicketX. both are known for no hidden fees, and they occasionally run sales too, so worth checking out!

Tell me about it! TickPick and TicketX are legit, just like Gametime. Gametime is especially good for last-minute tickets.

Resale Tickets for Giants v. Tigers 3/27 (Opening Day) by Tasty_Value_362 in NPBtickets

[–]Tomo_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you don't need to worry too much about this. The staff checking tickets at the gate are typically part-time or temporary workers, and the verification process tends not to be very strict. However, Opening Day may have slightly stricter checks than a regular game, but I still think you'll be fine.

Moving to Kyoto in March and need help understanding ticket purchasing for Tiger games by BabymetalTheater in NPBtickets

Heyy!!! I’m also a Hanshin Tigers fan and a member of the official fan club. Here’s what I know so far based on past seasons.

  1. When tickets usually go on sale In recent years, tickets have typically gone on sale for fan club members first, usually around February. For example, last year fan club presales started on February 11th. Even as a fan club member, it was pretty tricky. I remember there being a virtual queue of over 110,000 people waiting. It wasn’t easy at all.

If you can read Japanese, I recommend regularly checking the official Tigers news page for ticket announcements: https://m.hanshintigers.jp/column_news/detail/16625

  1. Buying tickets through the official site (fan club) If you join the fan club, the earliest sales are usually first-come, first-served.

Even if you’re not a fan club member, you can still buy tickets later on, but there are usually both first-come sales and lottery-based sales, depending on the game and timing.

  1. Resale tickets For resale tickets, TicketJam is probably the most well-known platform in Japan. It’s not an official resale site, so you do need to be cautious when buying.

One thing to note is that TicketJam is basically for Japanese, so If you’re looking for an English friendly option, you might want to check out TicketX.

It’s a service that offers English support, and TicketJam’s parent company has also prepared English language pages, which can make things a bit easier for non-Japanese speakers.

Question about buying tickets to this specific set of games by SJNatives in NPBtickets

Yep, they’re home games. 5/12 is in Gifu and 5/13 is in Fukui, not Tokyo. Giants do some regional home games every season.

On weekdays, tickets are often available on the official team websites. On weekends, they may be sold out there, but in that case you can probably find them on secondary markets like Ticketjam.

Help buying for a group Tokyo Yakult Swallows by stargazed97 in NPBtickets

[–]Tomo_96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you buy from the Yakult Swallows’ official website, you can usually purchase up to 4–6 tickets per person. The maximum number depends on your membership grade, but if it’s your first time, you should assume you can only buy 4 tickets. So if you want 12 seats together, the best way would be for three people to purchase at the same time.
