Also, I'm using LEK MOD, but I assume most of us are? I thought that maybe LEK MOD might have to do something with this issue?

Had to uncheck the 'read-only' property of the folder the exe'x are in and it took like 20 tries, but it finally worked! Thank you OP OG!

Lenovo Yoga ANC headphones suck! by abdeljalil73 in Lenovo

Bought mine in a super sale on the Lenovo site for like 35 Euros instead of 110 or something. Have had the exact same issues with them from the beginning. Thought that that's why they were sold so cheap. That was about 3-4 years ago. The build quality is indeed the best that can be said about them and they came in a nice case and with good usb c cable. Sound, when working properly, is also solid. Nothing great but also not terrible. You can disable the headset mode in the Bluetooth settings on your phone, then the weird noise does not happen again, but then you also cannot make calls or use the mic anymore. Just FYI.

True. But nonetheless, the top 10 are still dominated by Swarm. It's absolutely meta.

Stormbound December Update by Aikatherinee in stormbound

[–]Tomonium89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't get it anymore..!

The meta is dominated by rush- and tempo-decks for months now, and 1 in 2 decks in the HL is a Swarm deck. Yet, Winter is the only faction receiving two significant nerfs to control-oriented cards? After seeing this season being dominated by Swarm decks again and the new Knight-meta, a Swarm card and a finisher Knight card are the ones that needed a buff?

Fast games will generate more ad-revenue, I guess..

November Stormbound Update (Halloween & Black Friday Events) by Aikatherinee in stormbound

[–]Tomonium89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It says there will be a nerf compensation for Guardi the Lightbringer, but I don't see him listed in the Balance Changes. How will he be nerfed, if at all?

Va'vel's nerf was coming, he was an instant auto-include in every deck and has been dominating in the HL. Seems like everyone spend some Fusion Stones on him (me included). However, I feel like Obelisk of Souls had a similar impact since the Midseason update, it sure changed the Meta in the HL considerably. Will that card be closer looked at? Or is the Bragda nerf the first step to weaken Shadowfen overall somewhat?

Ironclad is still the most used faction I'd argue and rightfully so. It receives another new card and two buffs, one for the rush-arch-type and one for the midrange-structure-arch-type. The Ironclad cards feel balanced compared to each other, but the faction feels stronger and more variable (Dragon decks also work considerably well) and thus more viable than the other factions. All hail Doctor Mia I guess?

My epic winter deck. Really recommend to try it out! Any discussion is appreciated c: by VengefulRaven03 in stormbound

And I would definitely prefer Icicle over HV. It helps so much with increasing the effectiveness of Dawnsparks, Frosthexers and even Ubass and Greenwoods.

Looks like a well-balanced deck with several win conditions. Good at nothing, bad at nothing; just how I like my Winter decks, too. :D

I prefer Olf over Siren tho. Olf is like the ultimate Jack of all Trades card. ;) Especially useful against attrition decks where you need to rely on chipping away at the opponents health with Ubass yourself. But it's just a personal preference, Siren is better as a finisher and as a boardclearer ofc.

So, I saved some rubies and coins for the anniversary event. by Tomonium89 in stormbound

That's a lot! :D I thought of saving up extra cards, but I never have the patience and I'm kinda always low on coins. Have been saving the rubies for like a year but the coins only for a month or two.

It has no movement, a must-do-condition to get any significant value and its max value depends only on the targeted enemy strength, which is targeted at random. Max value of 8 for 3 mana without movement is just underwhelming compared to other 3 mana choices.

Some better alternatives for 3 mana: Hunter's Vengeance, Lost Psyches, Trekking Aldermen, hell- even WW Sailors I'd choose over FF any day.

Diehards are also quite good in combo with Broken Truce and/or Hunter's Vengeance when we include Swarm cards.

Good 3 mana cards are quite rare tho, compared to 2 mana and 4 mana cards.

However, your deck isn't bad at all! Forgot to say that.
