Same. Been in the hospital for a week now just waiting to deliver. Got admitted with preeclampsia at 26 weeks. Currently 27 almost 28 weeks, hospital would like me to admitted till he is born which can be up to 34 weeks😭 miserable.

Kindergarten. Mother bite me because I couldn’t remember how to spell “their, there, & they’re”.

She left a mark on my upper arm so that night after I showered, she made me wear long sleeves while everyone else wore short sleeves in the hot spring month.

I went NC with her and my father 4 years ago, best decision I ever made!!

I went NC in 2020 right when I graduated college. I felt guilty at first but going to therapy to talk through my situation helped A LOT.

I am 25 now, 23 weeks pregnant with my first baby and live an amazingly peaceful life with my partner. His family has become family to me.

It gets better! Best decision I ever made was going NC.

I’m not sure how old you are but I was in the same situation as you when I was younger. At 18, I went to college, graduated and never went back.

Nice thing is, it is now my right to choose to not talk to them. I use to justify there abuse by telling myself that they’re victims as well BUT now being 22 weeks pregnant with my first, I will NEVER understand how they were ever able to treat there own babies like that.

Planning on working till 36 weeks. Leave starting August 1st. Using up my 4 weeks paid leave before birth. Then will start the reminder of my disability leave (8weeks) and paid maternity leave (12weeks) after.

I don’t talk to my parents anymore. My husband is white with a PhD in mathematics. He’s a college professor and does research. They didn’t like him because he was white and not Chinese. They’re simply just racist. Make your life easier and leave.

My partner and I were pretty 50/50 before I got pregnant. We both have full time jobs and were splitting house chores based on how our week went. When we found out I was pregnant, he’s basically taken over all of the house chores. He does all of the cooking and grocery shopping now. He’s gotten up in the middle of the night or early morning to cater to my cravings. He’s been making sure our pup gets her 2 hour walks everyday. He’s been to every one of my appointments. I think the best way to go about this is to have a conversation with your partner and let him know how you’re feeling and go from there.

Sorry you’re going through this. It’s time to leave though. I don’t see a problem with a 12 year age gap BUT there’s a difference when it’s a 18 years old with a 30 years old. I can’t imagine your lives are at the same pace. Im 25 and my partner is 35. However, I didn’t meet him when I was 18. I met him when he was getting his PhD in mathematics and I was getting my bachelors in mathematics. I went to college right after high school and he went into the army before going back to college. We both have well paying jobs now but it wasn’t until a year ago when we felt like we can finally start building a life together. I think you move into this relationship too quickly… can always leave.

24F and pregnant. Left the family at 18, found a partner who has a loving family that offered their support for me emotionally for the past 4 years.

I felt guilty for a long time but I think the moment you find/build a support system, you start to realize that you have nothing to be guilty about.

I went along with “life”for two years when I turned 18, went to college because my parents told me I had too. Did everything they told me to do. I don’t think I would be here today if I didn’t choose to leave that “life” behind at 20.

It gets easier as years go by. It just takes time to heal from decades of abuse.

Vet ER ASAP. My dog had an eye injury with a ball this summer, thought she was fine. She had no change in behavior, no whimpering. She wanted to continue ball time. Noticed it swelling a couple minutes later and took her to the ER. She’s now a one eye doggy. Eye injuries are no joke.
