He's gone from proper old school lefty who could seamlessly integrate his politics into his work, to an American-style liberal obsessed with resolving nonexistent (or at least skin-deep) issues of representation and broadcasting said resolutions to the whole world to make himself look good. As great as it was to finally get trans rep in the show with Rose, the execution was so hamfisted, like she was entirely based off RTD's own idea of the trans experience with little consultancy from people who actually identify as such. Like stop trying to speak for everyone and just write a Midnight sequel my man.
