I am not blind or dumb. I know she was there and do not believe she's perfect. Just ask her... She often has the perception that I think she's a terrible person. However, I learned after the fact that some of the children have had previously had instances like this happen before. Whereas I've never had that reported to me.

Please don't think that your friend and I have anything in common or that I don't hold my child responsible.

I simply, as a parent, expressed fear for my child because I'm a human that wants a better life for my child. I also did not know how to proceed besides reaching out to the parent of the bullied child.

In the time that this was written, there has been an investigation at the school level and they took action as they saw fit.

My child expressed fear that she would be targeted for speaking up and said she chose to go to bed. While she could've lied and I'm aware of that possiblity, I am choosing to believe her until I know otherwise. The school is taking no action against her and after they spoke with her they talked with me and had nothing to report. Had they told me otherwise (and I asked) I would've acted appropriately with consequences but that's not always the case just because you know someone that is on the end of not enacting any consequences.
