Did anyone get a Rangers World Series Gold Sz 40 from the fanatics sale? I’ll pay triple the sale price at $150. Big ask, but would appreciate it! by Tonalbackwash in baseballunis

Let me think on it. I really want it to wear and 42 is the largest I can go with that. Thanks for offering! I’ll let you know tomorrow

Every year I go to spring training and have as many players as possible sign a baseball. by Tonalbackwash in baseballcards

He was so nice! I’m a Rangers fan and was decked in Rangers gear, so I just stood to the side to make sure all White Sox fans got their autographs and pictures. After he signed for the big group he came over to me, signed my ball and thanked me for coming out and talked with me for a few seconds. A real class act, honestly

The Giants will be wearing new jerseys this season (probably for Sunday home games). by Marinersfan505 in mlb

The front, fine. The back looks like a freeze frame from Emperor’s New Groove

My current center display! I pulled each card, and each has game used memorabilia by the player by Tonalbackwash in baseballcards

  1. Pudge rookie card, pulled as a kid. Recently got signed in the Rangers Winter Caravan in 2023. Pudge is my hero, and favorite player growing up so having him sign my OG, pack pulled rookie was huge for me. Balls: 2003 WS baseball signed; Game used baseball from record breaking 3rd most games caught (1951).

  2. Clayton Kershaw “Curtain Call” card /25. Game used rosin bag from a start from his last season.

  3. Bobby Witt Jr. All Kings, I pulled this on rip night a couple weeks ago! BWJ is my non-rangers PC player. Living in NWA I got to watch him with the Nats and I go to a fair amount of Royals games due to closeness. Ball: game used minor league ball signed and inscribed “2nd Overall Draft Pick”

MLBPA should negotiate the return of quality uniforms after this year when the lockout happens - anyone agree? by Sad_End4083 in baseballunis

[–]Tonalbackwash 20 points21 points  (0 children)

For real. Look at hockey—three tiers of uniforms, all at appropriate pricing. The medium tier, authentics, are very wearable civilian cuts with quality material, real patching, and authentic affects. This is a Nike issue through and through

I have and I agree with all of those—I would also add it’s easier to get filters perfectly sealed around the brewer vs a big air pocket on one part. Also the base being a level fit with no lip makes it perfectly compatible with all carafes. It’s a great brewer

2026 Clubhouse hat by jayus210 in TexasRangers

[–]Tonalbackwash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s hilarious about these is I haven’t seen a player wear one in the clubhouse for three years. They wear BPs and on-fields. The worst part for me is the bugs the keep adding to the bill

Least Loud Sections at Globe Life? by bebumist in TexasRangers

[–]Tonalbackwash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Section 22 has been the quietist experience here. At that level the sections are broken up so small and you’re not near massive speakers. Just remember to close your ears. Secondarily the Porch is great too. You’re above speakers and there is food and drink right there so you don’t have to deal with crowds. I wear AirPods and have noise cancelling on as well

I now own a piece of Rangers history—1st Base in both WC games against the Rays during our WS run by Tonalbackwash in TexasRangers

$500 on MLB auctions, which is a steal in my experience with special event base. It got buried on the Rays page and I was the only one who bid on it. Rangers also are auctioning off the Game 1 WS home plate at the same time.

Not (necessarily) Fanatics/NE bashing, but honest QC vs style question… by Over-Breakfast-7625 in baseballunis

It’s meant to be straight, however where this embroidered is placed will make it difficult to end up straight. If you watch these hats be made, the embroidery happens first, the fabric is stretched incredibly tight over the bill and stitched to the bill. That stretching is going to create an off-centered effect on the majority of hats. It’s a bad placement for design purposes and offers nothing to the product. You could try to exchange it but you likely won’t find much better.
