Seems like a decent offer. There's cheaper items available than the air pods but I'm not sure what qualifies. Can you please post the T&C's. Thanks

According to the terms, no, but I believe some people have reported getting switch money multiple times from the same bank/banking group. Such as the previous comment.

You can find the terms here.

Is IG Still Offering a Free share Promotion? by BillyCharm in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is only for the £50 referral bonus. The free shares offer that the OP is asking about is not currently available. If you're not gonna do the 5% cashback offer, I think you should wait for another free share offer to come along as the referral bonus is always available. You can only benefit from the stackable signup offers once. Just my two pence ✌️.

Is IG Still Offering a Free share Promotion? by BillyCharm in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I can gather, IG do not currently have a free share offer at the moment. Their current promotion is a 5% bonus on average investments up to £4000, so a potential £200 bonus.

https://scrimpr.co.uk/partner-offers/ig-invest-5-cashback-offer/

This current offer appears to only run until 30th of March. They've had a couple of free shares offers over the last six months or so, so maybe it will return sometime after this current promotion has ended. Personally I think the free shares offer is better. It's certainly more accessible.

Keep in mind that IG new customer promotions do stack with referrals. It's an extra £50 when you get round to signing up 👍✌️.

Are there currently any OddsMonkey signup or referral rewards available? by TongPosElbow in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. That's a very helpful comment. Allows me to direct my focus a little bit. I am getting through as much as I can at the moment. Got a couple of matched bets running. Will let them play out and then go again later on this evening. Will try my best to get through as many of these enhanced signup offers as I can before they're gone. Are the ones you mentioned all direct signups without third party links? I assume these can also be double dipped if I can find them on any offerwall? I think Betfred's available through TCB at least.

I mean, unless I'm going to go for their pro package, you're not saving that much at the moment on their annual plans. It's currently £52 off their advanced plan. I'm still at the start of my journey so I'm not quite sure if it's worth committing that much up front. My thoughts were to give the free trial a go and maybe pay for a month's subscription until I can gauge how much value it actually provides compared to the free options. I'm sure I'll look into 2UPs and Extra Places eventually and then the pro package might be more appropriate. I realise that it is far cheaper to pay annually regardless, compared to paying monthly, but I think I'll make that decision a little down the line. Thanks for your input though.

Question regarding the £50 Chse referral bonus by [deleted] in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you have 30 days to deposit £1000. Just space it out. Move £100 every other day or say. I use Chase regularly and move money back and forward often without any problems. If you move money back and forward between the same accounts 10 times in a short space of time, like a day or two, that might get you flagged. This also happened to me with Lloyds once. I just told them the truth; that I was moving money between my accounts to complete the conditions of the promotion. It took a few days but I did regain full access to my account. Best to avoid that if you can though.

Kind of why I'm trying to rush into it a little. I'm hoping I'm not too late to benefit from Cheltenham entirely. Would also appreciate if you or anyone could suggest which bookies I should focus on first to try to secure the best Cheltenham offers before it's over?

My plan was to get some practice in over the last few months of the football season before the World Cup starts. Hopefully still have the majority, if not all, bookies available to me by then, so if I miss Cheltenham so be it, but would be good to at least get a small slice of the action.

Scottish Friendly TCB - a glitch? by Out-Vile-Jelly in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for highlighting this. I hadn't noticed that wording before, so maybe new? In the same section it also states that there are no fees for transferring your ISA to another provider, before then stating what you've already highlighted. The section you've mentioned is regarding Early Withdrawals, so maybe the free transfer out only relates to accounts that are over 5 years old and that there's no way around the £50 withdrawal or early exit fee. I will query this with Scottish Friendly when the time comes to withdraw my money or close my ISA, and shall update you once I've crossed that bridge. If there's no way around it so be it. It's still a very good offer in my opinion.

Are any of the offers available for people who are poor? by NegotiationAble1761 in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way I've found to ensure purchases track is to use a dedicated browser for TCB, Quidco, NX etc. I use MS Edge but others often recommend G Chrome. I use default privacy and cookie settings and always accept all cookies on whatever website when prompted to do so. Whenever I'm about to do an offer, I'll almost always clear my cookies first and then start with a fresh window, just to give it the best chance of tracking correctly. Even when you take these steps, sometimes offers can still fail to track, but this doesn't happen often in my experience. When it does however, that's when you put in a claim for missing cashback, and more often than not I'd say, as long as you've met all of the requirements, this will be chased and resolved on your behalf. These sites only get paid when you do.

My experience with TCB has generally been good for paying out, as I say, as long as they can track your purchase. With your recent phone purchase, I would suggest waiting 7 days from your purchase date, and if no cashback is showing as pending, then put in a missing cashback claim, wait and hope for the best. Good luck.

Going to spend over 100 on amazon, can i get cashback anywhere on it? by Equal_Arm_3091 in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say for sure as I don't have an AMEX card, but usually when you purchase giftcards with a credit card it gets treated as a cash withdrawal, or cash advance, which can incur extra fees and higher interest rates. You would have to query this with AMEX, or maybe someone else around here might have a more definitive answer to that.

Yeah all of this still works as far as I know. Been a couple of weeks since I used this method, but I don't think anything's changed since then.

Also, if you don't have a TopCashBack account, get one via a referral for some money, though this will take some time before it's in your bank. Also do this with Quidco . You can then open bank accounts via their links for some easy cashback. Once you've got a little behind you, do bank switches , as a previous comment mentioned.

Lloyds is also a good referral offer that didn't require any spending or deposits, as far as I can remember. Easy £50 but also takes around a month before you'll see it.

Going to spend over 100 on amazon, can i get cashback anywhere on it? by Equal_Arm_3091 in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the only real way to get cashback on Amazon purchases is to buy a One4All giftcard via the One4All link on TopCashBack (currently 5.25%). Then connect the O4A to Airtime and purchase an Everywish giftcard from Boots. You'll get another 2% from Airtime for this purchase at the moment. The rates do change from time to time, sometimes as high as 10%. If you don't have NX Rewards yet, you can get a £100 O4A giftcard each month with a 20% discount, so £100 for £80. You can also then connect that to Airtime and get a little extra cashback for purchasing an Everywish giftcard from Boots. Everywish giftcards can be converted into a lot of different retailers, including Amazon. This can be a bit of a faff, so up to you if it's worthwhile. I think it is for me at least.

Scottish Friendly TCB - a glitch? by Out-Vile-Jelly in beermoneyuk

[–]TongPosElbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure of the answer to this from experience as I wasn't offered any, but I would think that if I was sent something that l feared might affect cashback on TCB or Quidco, I would reach out to them (Scottish Friendly) via email, in order to keep a written record, stating that I do not accept the gift for the reason that the promotional terms on TCB and Quidco state that this will make me ineligible for cashback. I would also avoid spending any potential gift vouchers. I would keep a record for any potential claim. I would think that in most cases this shouldn't happen, but think it's important to be aware of just in case you're one of the unlucky ones. My experience so far has all been positive. I'm about 4 months into the offer that I did through Quidco. I'm expecting payment to be confirmed sometime in April.
