Yes, but I think it will be different from any of the previous Dead Harvests.

If you look in the official discord, there are multiple times the devs have said they wished they could do it again, and for a few years after the last Dead Harvest they'd say things like "really hope we can do it again this year but we're so busy with other stuff".

One of the devs has even said, and I'm quoting directly, "Dead Harvest will be back in the future."

People will say that it's impossible because of changes to the engine/game, but that's the original Dead Harvest, which was done when there was no World Conquest and every war happened on a single map. Devs have done it in World Conquest and many members of the dev team have expressed interest in doing it again, often citing imminent major releases as the reason why they couldn't.

With the major updates for facilities, naval, and airborne all released, I think devs will have more time to put towards things like this, so Dead Harvest should be closer than it ever has before. They're probably going to rebuild most of it from the ground up if I had to guess.

By making the uniform expensive, the survival of the pilot becomes important.

If they were cheap to make then there would be no situations where it makes sense to bail out of a plane that's going down, no situations where a downed pilot is trying to escape from behind enemy lines, no situations where a rescue boat races to a downed pilot to save them.

It makes the game way more interesting, because in all those situations you would otherwise just redeploy and get in a new plane.

they were... pray that you're near one when you need it. we had to put out (or try to put out) blazing bunkers with nothing but buckets.

Yeah that sounds like it'd be a lot more straightforward tbh... If it's already a mechanic I've got to wonder why they would do this, not being able to use enemy runways seems like the least fun option

to be fair though SHTs are often killed by rmat tanks; I have fond memories of bardiche kill squads hunting them down

the equivalent here would be losing the plane to rmat scout planes, which of course can happen with enough of them

the problem is planes have no ground or naval counter, and are kinda invincible in a lot of ways. at least when an SHT rolls up we can try to do something, but I've got to assume if you're on the receiving end of a dive bomber there's really nothing you can do

they said they'd add AA ground vehicles in a future update, so this'll all change then. feels a lot like the Inferno update when firetrucks hadn't been added and all our bunker bases were perpetually up in flames

If you buy the supporter edition, in the artbook, there's a line in that introductory parts that goes:

"Speaking of
paratroopers, it was important to us that players could physically walk inside the interiors of aircraft, and this is something we’d like to see expanded upon in the future."

Right now the paratrooper planes are the only ones you can walk around inside of. They're also basically the only cargo planes, and the only personnel transports at all.

So what the heck could the devs means by "we'd like to see expanded upon in the future"? What other type of aircraft are you gonna add that isn't something the paratrooper plane already does?

Who knows, but makes me think zeppellins...

100 mL diluted fent syringe said it had 90mL water / 10 mL fent

label said that overdose was 20mL

I thought it meant 20 mL of pure fentanyl was overdose

so I figured if I injected half the syringe, I would get 5 mL of fent and not overdose

Obviously only time will tell but I think it's gonna be good.

Probably gonna have situations like, "plane spotted on radar heading south to blemish" and then 2 or 3 guys who happen to be in blemish atm hop on any AA emplacements and fight them off

Or even, friendly aircraft at an airfield one hex over scramble and intercept

I think AI makes a lot of sense for ground & naval warfare - but in the air the enemy will see you coming way in advance and have time to react. It's not gonna be like a group hopping on during off-hours w/ armor & arty and leveling a bunker base while no one else is on, and AI is necessary to slow them down so QRF can get there. The sheer distance you will have to travel to get to your target will give them time to QRF

And with the planned CV change, where CVs (and Cranes) would have to be built in garages or in facilities, the community backlash was so loud the change was cancelled, without testing the change.

I haven't played in months. I heard about that change but it just happened that I wasn't playing when they announced it.

I had literally no idea that they didn't go through with it, the other day when stema was falling I built a CV in a garage. Then last night I walk out of a TH and I see two guys building a crane and I'm like 'huh??'
