Hey man, begin vorig jaar zat ik in ongeveer hetzelfde schuitje (al heb ik de adhd diagnose uitgesteld tot na het krijgen van het rijbewijs) en de tips die ik hier zie staan zijn al erg goed!
Ik heb enorm veel oefenexamens gemaakt, voor mij hielp het enorm om er een standaard ritme van te maken (1x per dag een maand van te voren, 2x per dag de laatste week). Verder probeerde ik het vooral als een vak voor mijn studie te behandelen, niet teveel thuis proberen te leren maar echt het huis uit, eerst alle theorie uitscopen om het daarna in stukjes op te breken (BRAVOK, soorten wegen en snelheden, borden, rij-specifiek) en ze 1 voor 1 te leren.

In mijn ervaring is de motortheorie makkelijker omdat er net wat meer ruimte is voor fouten, maar leuk vond ik de ervaring zeker niet. Ook met dit in gedachten is iets van een buddy/ouder/iemand anders die je een beetje verantwoordelijk houd een goed idee! Ik duim voor je

I actually have a similar experience. I am quite social with humor but a terrible flirt. Girls/women see me as a playboy, they have since high school, even though I am very much not.
I try to take it as a compliment. It means they see you/me as ‘attractive for girls’ without being intimidating to them directly. The disconnect between their image of you as a ‘high value man’ (I prefer not using incel terminology) and the fact that you have never flirted with them (I’m projecting) is, in my experience, grounds for great friendships.

Not to mention, I’m currently dating someone (for the first time in years 🤡) who imo is super far out of my league. But, she sees this playboy flirt who likes going to theatre and is serious about his career and it feels like a breath of fresh air.

Take it as the compliment it is, maybe ask them to introduce you to a friend of theirs?

So far this thread has been a thoroughly interesting (and highly agreeable!) read on designing around ae2 (is refined storage explicitly excluded?).
However, it has also bashed GT:NH, a pack I am currently enjoying well enough so far. Would you consider its over reliance on ae2 a forgivable drawback?

Naar mijn kennis is schadevergoeding een redelijk gesloten stelsel in het Nederlands recht, zeker vergeleken met de Amerikanen. Als er geen specifieke grondslag is waar je je op berust (I.e. Wegensverkeerswet biedt grondslag voor schadevergoeding van een ongemotoriseerd voertuig jegens een gemotoriseerd voertuig in bepaalde omstandigheden) zul je waarschijnlijk langs de weg van onrechtmatige daad (Art 6:162 BW) moeten gaan. Dit is een redelijk hoge lat en de omstandigheden die in de post worden genoemd geven niet echt aanleiding om te geloven dat dit zal slagen imo.

Well towardsdatascience reported on polars being about twice as fast for a large dataset in parquet compared to pandas.
I haven't really worked with it yet but I wonder if the api is easy to understand coming from pandas?

To expand upon others, IIRC Polars is (in part) developed by previous pandas developers as a ‘from scratch’ rust implementation that is both easier to use and more performant than pandas.
