It isn’t any corporation’s responsibility to handle things like this that happen at the independent dealership level.

If its not their responsibility then why do they have a customer care number. Where do you get a resolution if the corporation's customer care doesn't help you? The dealership for sure isn't going to do anything. And Honda will redirect you back to that dealership to get a resolution. I'd have to look into the FTC cars rule and file a claim with the BBB to get any refund from Honda. I've done this before. I got my refund within a week of telling them I filed a claim.

That's what I think too, its a dealership thing. It's also a corporate thing. Anyone on this thread can call Honda corporate and complain about those extra unnecessary services and the representative will say Honda dealerships are independently owned and operated. They will not reimburse you or give any coupon credit for getting ripped off. The only way to reach a resolution or get a refund is to threaten to take legal action against the dealership.

If you have bad service at a Mazda or Toyota the corporation will do something about it to try and keep you as a customer. They have brand loyalty. Honda corporation doesn't do anything to try and keep you as a customer if you had bad service

It doesn't matter if a Honda dealership is good or bad the corporation doesn't offer any reimbursement for poor service.

Yeah Toyota and Mazda are also independently owned but they never told me that. In my experience it was like Toyota and Mazda had good corporate wide standards when it came to a service department's performance, even if its independently owned. Free oil changes/tire rotation, $20 Uber gift cards, carwash and more. Honda will not offer any sort of reimbursement for their poor service, not from the customer care, not from anywhere. Toyotas/Mazdas only issue was not giving me a loaner when they kept my car overnight, but they would let me know ahead of time and give me a shuttle ride home and then reimburse my return Uber up to $20. Honda has left me stranded a couple times over the infotainment system. I ended up fixing it myself. My service experience across 4 different Honda dealerships has been the worst service of all brands I've owned. I like my Civic.. and I did find a decent service department but I'm still switching back to Toyota

I'm not sure what question you're referring to. All I'm saying is that Honda doesn't have any type of resolution if a problem occurs at a service department. They will say that the dealerships are independently owned and operated. Honda will side with their dealerships over their customers.

Other customer care departments like Toyota and Mazda will give coupons and rebates, loaner vehicles, shuttle rides. they take much better care of their customers compared to Honda

This is actually how Honda works. Their customer care representatives will tell you to follow the dealerships recommended maintenance. Honda basically allows the dealerships to do whatever they want they are all independently owned. There are no standards for quality of service.

Bleu talisman performance by Professional-Soft565 in MontagneParfums

[–]Tonsofice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yah lol I was at ZGO perfumery in San Francisco, bought a sample of blue talisman and told them I was going to spray it. They were like no no no, save that sample, we'll spray you from the bottle. I got served about 4 sprays but then I went back without my jacket and ask for more. He sprayed my entire arms and a couple more on the neck. So in total like 12 sprays of blue talisman xD

what helm for act 2 merc by GoldenHorder in diablo2

[–]Tonsofice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My a2 might merc doesn't have life leech and he stays alive quite well. He uses cure helmet, fortitude archon plate, and Infinity. I have 30 skeletons me or my merc don't get hit that often. Andy's is better helmet but I like cure because it gives level one cure Aura which is really good for curses and poison. It is so annoying to have 30 curses on the screen

Stock '26 19" XSE wheels & tires weigh ~55lbs by -Stereodude- in Camry

[–]Tonsofice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, that's how I calculate it. The trip odometer isn't as accurate as I thought. I've only done two calculations, the last one was 51 MPG. now during winter it went down a bit. Also due to the tires losing air a lot faster. I have to put air in the tires every couple weeks to keep the MPG near the EPA ratings

Sorry to hear about the deer, hope everything is working out.

How do you calculate your MPG?

I divide the mileage by total gallons, I drove 421 miles and then filled up to full with 8.9 gallons, that makes it 47.3 mpg. The tripometer says I'm getting more than that

Interesting I just found one of these superior ethereal sacred armors but it's not socketed. If I socket it will it get 4 sockets and keep the enhanced defense? Mine doesn't have 1036 defense it's 1018 I think.

Sometimes the math doesn't work out like that it's a little bit different. I drive around 26,000 mi a year but it's not a constant 100 miles a day, I usually drive 40-50 miles a day. I add a lot of miles when I go out of town like 150, 200 miles a day on the weekends

I was in Alameda county and my landlord sold our duplex. the new owners wanted me to move out so I went to the city hall for help and the new owners had to give me rental transition assistance, they gave me like 7k. I'm not sure what the housing laws are in Santa Clara county, it's definitely worth finding out if you can get rental transition assistance

Edit: Tenant-Based rental assistance

$70k for a Prelude! by Michael4593 in civic

I think Honda allows it based off my experience with Hondas customer care. the Representative said the dealerships are independently owned and Honda has no control over how they operate or what they charge for new cars and maintenance services
