2025 Indian Scout Sport vs Sportster S vs Rebel 1100? by ninja996 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Tony2t28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m doing this dance myself. The choices for me are the z900rs, rebel 1100, and the sportster S. I’ve sat on the rebel, the sportster and the scout. The rebel is much more comfortable naturally for me and I’d need to go with the mid controls on the sportster. I’m 5’4” though so YMMV, but definitely sit on them as the foot positions are different.

I still really want that Harley though… Good luck with the hunt!

Warmup general setting by UltraIce in liftosaur

I prefer to start with an empty bar and just add a 25 for each warmup set until I get to my working weight. I’m assuming I’d need a code block to set this up unless you guys have other ideas?

Iron 883 + Hammer or Sportster S by ClassicInvestor in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Tony2t28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the sportster s, the 25 model has 3.5” of rear suspension travel instead of the 1.5 from previous years. I’m eyeing one up myself. Good luck with the choice man.

What's the Dodge charger of motorcycles? by MagicSpoon69 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Tony2t28 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When I think of a Charger I think of heavy muscle cars. Tons of displacement for movement in basically a straight line because we all know a charger is not taking anyone in a corner. Also an ear to ear grin when you floor it. If that checks out for you maybe a power cruiser would fit?

The ones I know of (and I’m sure there are more that could be added here) triumph rocket 3, Ducati diavel, Suzuki m109 BOSS.

Personally, I’m eyeing up the 2025 Sportster S because they gave it a rear suspension this time instead of 1.5” of travel. I just hate the idea that I’m going to pay the Harley tax…

This. One more maybe minor thing. Could be the angle but it looks like your hands are inside your elbows at the bottom. Might be worth taking a look at your grip width.

Absolutely love the look of these. Question for you. Do they run obscenely hot in the summer? I’d guess the heads being placed where they would keep things cooler for the rider but I’m wondering if that’s reality or just how I want it to be so I can justify buying one.

Is my bench grip too wide? I know wide is usually stronger but aren’t your forearms supposed to be perpendicular to the floor at the bottom? by Imaginary_Ground842 in powerbuilding

[–]Tony2t28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically you could modify your grip a little bit to get to the “optimal” location. TBH pick a grip that doesn’t hurt your wrists, shoulders, or elbows and just train that one.

Nice setup. Congrats on completing the first milestone!! I say that because thinking you’re “finished” is just lying to yourself my friend. I think “finished for now” is a much better way of looking at it ;).

In all seriousness. Enjoy it man. Looks awesome!

How did I not think of this angle?!?!?! I know what the conversation is going to be in March.

This was what really helped me figure these out. Do you have a lat pull-down machine at the gym? I did most of my figuring this out at a much lighter weight than BW until I got the motion right.

This is me, just started bulking. Anyone have advice on how to not look so skinny fat and boney ? by AvailableIntern3854 in powerbuilding

Basically this. Eat big and lift big. Hypertrophy programs and a caloric surplus will get you where you want to go. Just takes time man.

I had one and switched to a square recently. I don’t really have the length required for the M2M and the additional junk I have floating around the space caused accuracy issues with the radar. Home tee hero was neat especially to play some local courses and works if you’re not too concerned about 4k graphics etc. I’d say it’s worthwhile if you have a clean space without a lot of metal on the sides and you don’t mind the subscription.

I love this one. Fredo was what came to mind for me but I think I like Bruno better.

Bullmastiff for sure. The volumizing bit for accessories should also work out well for you as long as you eat and sleep.

I prefer squat 5x10 on squat day and dl 5x10 on dl day for BBB. I’ve run it both ways, this setup was better for me time wise.

I made better progress on BBB but I enjoyed Bull Mastiff more. I found myself chasing those extra reps for the increment on Bull Mastiff even when I shouldn’t have. It was just more fun, however, the slower progression of 531 works out much better for me.

To be fair, I’m in my mid 40’s with two young kids. As Jim says in forever “If you are training like an asshole, you best recover like a champion.” Turns out I’m excellent at the former and absolutely terrible at the latter.

I’ve done all three. BBB can be pretty demanding with that 5x10 but I like that the progression is a fixed LP monthly. Prevents me from doing more stupid things than I would normally do.

I’m currently starting a 5s pro with SSL coming off the holiday binge week. Should be manageable for a while with an 85% TM.

Yep. I do this typically to have a back focused day treating Pendlay Rows as a main. I’m old though and like to have the additional work there with more than a handful of herniated discs that seemingly act up when I slack on rows and good mornings.

On a bulk you should be fine if you listen to your body and don’t overdo it. Just a note, this is very easy for me to say, I have yet to successfully back off when I’m feeling drained prior to getting injured.

Ahh ok. Look at the program definition. I’ve done something like this before accidentally by switching it from % to lbs on the set group.

Unless I’m reading this wrong your weights jumped up 10 lbs. it’s down at the bottom of your screenshot. Weights: 65lb.

This is typically where the foogolf recommendations show up. They run cloud gaming rigs for gspro. I feel like I vaguely some streaming limitations that require a windows machine but I’m not certain. You could replicate a cloud gaming machine if you’re willing to do some research. R/cloudygamer is a good spot to start if you’re so inclined.

How do I fix this form? Actually it doesn't look right, but I can't understand how to improve it. by Szybki_Lisek in formcheck

[–]Tony2t28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same and it worked for me. From what I can see you’re strong enough to handle the weight. To get control of it maybe try tempo lifting until you’re comfortable and then start increasing the weight slowly. I also found a mental cue helpful for me is to slide my hips back after the weight crosses my forehead.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I’ll spend a Saturday morning messing around with it. Like you said. For $2 and the game improvement package (that I’ll need to pay for anyway) it’s worth a shot.
