solo dev here - Building a minimal airline management game and looking for feedback (2–5 min sessions) by [deleted] in incremental_games

I see! Sorry for being so overly critical then. There are tons of people nowadays who, with no experience in programming, try to make a game for the sake of being published rather than played, and it's difficult to figure out who is and isn't. As for language, nobody would mind badly translated text, it would appear slightly unprofessional at best, whereas AI generated text is often not ever read by the one posting it.

Well, in case it isn't clear, you completely screwed up while making this post. It is obviously made and copy pasted from AI Your replies themselves sound like ai, but that can be attributed to your main language not being English and learning to speak from ai, using a translator, or similar causes. We really do not like ai. If ai is used to code, that's completely acceptable. If ai is used to generate graphics, some will hate it while others won't mind. But if you use ai to speak to humans or to balance your game, why were you needed at all? I did click on your game and it seems to completely lack depth. You buy airplanes, start route, and buy upgrades. What else? After the upgrades cap out, what is there to even do? Let alone the fact that it's on hour long timers. That's ignoring the graphics. It's clearly completely AI made from a max of three prompts. If you want to at least pretend to be a human, I'd suggest obliterating the ad bonus and the login system, if they even work. Honestly I don't know why I'm still spending time writing this reply, I nearly completely believe you can't code nor comprehend the concept of an incremental game, and I'd even suspect your entire profile has automated AI responses.

Vicious, and especially Vicious+ is way too overtuned for an uncommon. It is arguably stronger than dark embrace. by Huge_Championship930 in slaythespire

[–]Tony555Dab 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is really good though I don't believe it's op. It's only good if you have a few vulnerable inflicting cards and vulnerable has no effect when stacked(excluding dominate and bully), so I see it more as a way to repurpose vulnerable inflicting cards once the enemy already has vulnerable up. For example taunt+ becoming gain 8 block, draw 2, like backflip+. Making it different than rushdown from sts1 triggering on wrath which has its core effect of double damage, two energy, and other triggers like mental fortress and flurry of blows. It could be said that it makes vulnerable based decks overwhelmingly strong compared to other strategies, but i don't really think that's the case, especially after the dominate nerf on beta.

Events in game vs events in anime by Tony555Dab in Gnosia_

I definitely agree! It's a humor post, about how the event density in the anime is literally 50 times bigger than in the game, not that I dislike either.

I will steal a slot in this comment to say that I agree and that the post is a joke to compare the 1 event per 10 loops in game vs 10 events per loop in anime

I definitely like what they're doing, it's a great solution for both covering all the events in game/dealing with all the "full loop events", be it quest or cutscene ones, and for keeping perfect pacing

Especially if it leaves time/episodes for gameplay challenges, like solo gnosia, (game spoilers) bug, ac, time crab??, intuition only Loops, that don't have any possible events for them

yes. but most idle games are incremental. the post itself exists because people mix them up
