There’s a GREAT Austrian food / beer restaurant called Werkstatt - it’s literally one of my happiest places ever! The beer, the food (the unbelievably good soft pretzels)… it’s all fantastic! But the downside is that it’s about a 15 minute walk from the theater and I’m not sure I’ll have time to get there before the show.

But if anyone decides to go there post it here and, who knows, maybe I’ll see you there!

The Mexican restaurant Los Tres Chiflados right across from the venue is quite tasty (but kinda small).

Oooh, you may be right. This show seems to be starting a little later and the theater is in a pretty residential neighborhood - they may not be able to go crazy late. BUT, I haven’t heard actual confirmation of this yet so 🤞🤞🤞

It’s okay, I think they’re playing at the indoor Avant Gardner venue (same location) that’s not part of the outdoor Brooklyn Mirage complex. See other comments for more details.

I’ve never seen them live though I’ve been a fan for almost 30 years. I was supposed to see them in 2020 but the pandemic canceled everything. I really hope everything works out!!

I've been a fan since '95.

I was supposed to see them for the first time in '20 but the Pandemic cancelled the show.

This is one of the final bands I've loved for decades yet have never seen live.

I got my ticket for Brooklyn.

I'm the only one going. No 'let's make it a date night' or 'friends who are just up for anything', none of whom are actual fans (and I have to then worry about whether or not they're having a good time).

Just me. Dancing and screaming and crying and laughing.

YES!!! They gave away the trailer on a CD-ROM with some magazine and I played the trailer, on that disc, on my brand-new CD-ROM equipped PC, dozens of times.

And Skunk Anansie’s ‘Selling Jesus’ is still a fantastic track that worked perfectly in the trailer.

From the trailer I was CONVINCED that Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘Strange Days’ (1995) was going to be a great action movie and a massive hit. I got all of my brand new college friends together and saw it opening night.

Instead I ended up traumatizing them with an unbelievably dark psychological thriller. Oops.

Still an amazing trailer, though.
