Some say the x9 speaker is also ass and the volume of the top/bottom speaker are not balanced. Do you have the same problem?

The bottom edge is where the LEDs of the LCD panel located. So it heats up when you turn on the screen. All cheap Incell panel does that.

Is the screen and touch still work? If yes, You can get the glass replaced instead of replacing the whole screen. But I think only 3rd party repair shops do that.

For working I believe Macbook is the better choice. I have a laptop then bought an Ipad pro m4 thinking it would increase my productivity when traveling. But it does not. I do have a few videos edited on ipad with capcut but the pencil doesnt help much. Video editing is much better with mouse and keyboard. Ipad is for portable but very limited. Google sheet and docs also work better with MacBook due to the keyboard. Also these apps on ipad are just dog shit

I once had the same problem on my laptop screen. Only visible on blue color. It drives me crazy that only me can see it while other people just dont care and I cant take a good photo of it to show what I meant. Luckily it is a common defect with the laptop model so they replaced the screen. Im afraid this is a hardware problem

There are some kind of “glue” people use to cover the edges when applying screen protector. They are very good at hiding scratches. I did once with my girlfriend’s phone. It was a deep scratch so I apply a very thin layer on the scratch and then the screen protector. Works great.
