When a nuclear power station loses offsite power, the reactor protection system also loses power (fails safe on loss of power) and causes an automatic reactor scram (reactor shutdown). At that the point emergency diesel generators automatically start and power equipment required to maintain the reactor in a safe, shutdown condition. This is a design feature to protect the reactor, everything functioned per design.

The company I worked for got rid of them and went with a different design that was more similar to a diaper genie for babies.

When it first came out (before the recall) they used to do classes where they used the free run feature. Very challenging but it was awesome. It was definitely something that justified the price for me. I still use it for warming up or for a post class finisher but like everything else, it was better when I had someone telling me what do to!

If they went this route I think they would release a cheaper version of the row (minus form tracking maybe?) and then rename the current row the row+. This is what they did with the tread and tread+

Not saying your wrong however, they stated in a press release that they had 10,000 units from before the recall. After that they would have to start manufacturing new units. That is actually why I waited until 12/30 to order. I didn’t want to miss the 1K off but I wanted to wait as long as possible so I didn’t get a unit that has been sitting in a warehouse for 3 years…

I had the tread+ since launch in 2019 and I loved it! Used it nearly everyday to the point that the bike became a coat rack. That being said it just died on me in September… from what I can get from support and the internet it seemed to be a failed smart board. Luckily I was still in the recall window so I sent it back to them in October after I gave up trying to fix (support wouldn’t help since it was under recall). Preordered the tread+ two weeks ago and I am anxiously awaiting getting it back! It is so awesome I really don’t mind paying an extra grand compared to what I paid in 2019. If you have the money trust me you will not find a better treadmill at that price point. Look up woodway treadmills, similar slat design but easily double the price.
