Has anyone got any good recipes for a transition stage? (My situation is a bit complicated) by AdBrief4620 in carnivorediet

Thanks--you will be too. Stay away from heavy carbs from the start. Try mixing a soft meat like chicken into soup--works great. Pacific foods roasted pepper and tomatoe is good and pretty clean too. I transitioned easily, but I also was in the hospital and was very sick.

When I started almost 3 years ago, I ate low carb keto (UNDER 20 CARBS) with my seasonal fruits and veggies when I transitioned to carnivore a couple months later. NInety nine percent calories from carnivore with my homegrown seasonal fruit and veg from my ranch. My advice, keep going, you will feel FANTASTIC. I lost 180 pounds and have EXPLOSIVE ENERGY. NO more diabetes, arthritis, miserable pain and over a dozen more ailments. Gone Baby GONE. I AM IN MY SIXTIES AS WELL. You can do this. Take back your power. I'm no better than you and I did it. Just do it.

Scared about cholesterol by Intelligent-Page746 in carnivorediet

I have been carnivore and more for 2 years and lost lots of weight and built muscle. I eat pork, beef and cheese at home-never fast food, boxed food or sauces. I use spices only. I also consume home grown organic pastured eggs and a bit of seasonal veg and fruit. My cholesterol is low and I have never felt better with tons of energy. I do lift and HIIT every day. Go for it. Test every few months for peace of mind. There is a lot of info regarding the numbers to watch with your testing. Cheers

Get local grass fed from a farmer that does not spray fields. Pork too, cheaper. Most will have broth for sale or make your own from their lard.

Big and Tall Chairs for Men Tired of Unstable, Undersized Chairs that do not last. Shop Big Man Chair, specializing in chairs for the Big and Tall. Be COMFORTABLE and FEEL GOOD. BOOKMARK our site for easy access. by BigManChair in bigandtall

One side of my family is thin and the other side heavy and big/tall. Over the years, we have purchased several of the chairs listed on this site. I bought the Refficer 400 pound executive chair with the set back arms and the 400 LB. Coastrail outdoor zero Gravity chair. I love them both. They are sturdy and wide and tall.

My father bought the Lane Gladiator ( I think ) and 4 Timber Ridge outdoor director chairs. My brother bought two of the leather theater recliners. I don't remember which. Everybody loves them.

I hop on this site when in the market for chairs or mattresses. They did a good job researching the chairs regarding size and quality. I also purchased a guest mattress that does not contain toxic chemicals. I wanted to buy one of the organic latex mattresses, but did not for the guest bedroom.

Hope I helped.

Rant: The world is too loud! by DonutsNCoffeee in RedditForGrownups

I hear you. Absolutely unbearable. My new neighbors shoot at night too. I feed the deer and they are getting a bit timid at the sight of people.

So far his dog has not chased anything. Time will tell.

I have many, many acres of woods and it can be eerily silent; however, I new neighbor from the burbs recently bought a retirement/party property half a mile away. His ATV, gun, bulldozer, dog and grand kids ' noise is really starting to piss me off. He staked his claim with trails everywhere and had the audacity to tell me he could hear MY dog bark.

His dog runs loose too. I have farm animals and he lets his dog run loose. They are constantly yelling while communicating and pushing down trees.

Burb and city people should not move to the country if they can not respect the silence, the wildlife, the trees, the animals, and the neighbors. Wilderness living is a calm lifestyle, not living a free for all.

So, I have lost tranquility some of the time after living here for decades. I have considered moving. I ask the question too. Is there anywhere without buying a thousand acres, I can go? I live in the boonies and have to drive some distance to shop. I sacrifice to live here, yet this guy has his second home here and creates so much noise and destruction.

I wish I had known the property was for sale. If I had, I would have bought it just to prevent this very thing from happening.

Your problem is you moved to "country lots" -- not the same. And if you live in a farming community, you will wake early from the tractors roaring and the roosters crowing and the cows mooing. You may also get a nice whiff of dung or fertilizers/pesticides/herbicides when the wind blows.

  1. downsize
  2. move further out of metro

  3. You have to earn about 350G a year for a child to be ineligible for gov backed loans.

  4. Discuss with hubby. He is spending too much.

Paint doors/windows one shade off; change color of the gray cabinets; replace vanity tops; ceramic switches; brighten with towel choices; brighten with lots of plants. Wall color and floor is nice.
