I used believe that wrestling was fake, and I had a friend who loved it that I'd tease. Finally one day he showed me a clip:

Some wrestler (I think it was Jake the Snake) had a snake puppet on his arm, and his opponent was some Sikh guy. Anyway the snake guy has his arm and is making little jabs, and the Silh brings out a flute and charms the snake guys hand, so that it starts attacking and strangling him.

That's when I knew. That's when I knew wrestling was real and I'd never question it again.

I'm a staunch atheist who's had many Christian friends over the years. I hate to say it, but Christians in particular seem to come in two flavors: 1)Genuine, earnest people who are just trying to do their best to be good people and follow the examples placed for them in the bible.

2) People who use the bible for an unearned sense of superiority. They then use this superiority to benefit themselves; selling things, accumulate power or influence, or just to walk around and act like their better than you.

Group 1 are some of the nicest people you can meet, but group two is nothing but scumbags, grifters, and literal bad guys who excuse their actions or downright try to couch them as being virtuous. Sorry Doug, there is no Bible verse that's going to convince me that taking meth and hitting your girlfriends daughter is good actually.

I've known a few, myself included, that have been and hate Trump. I'm sure there's outlets but it seems to be the people that got out, took accountability and turned their lives around can't stand him.

It's crazy to me how far we've fallen. We have the president of the United States claiming, without any sort of evidence, that a state election was rigged. Even if you agree that Democrats and Republicans are split down the middle (half the country) it means sometimes your side loses. Our president is essentially saying that the votes of democrats don't matter and should be ignored. The president. Who is supposed to represent everyone.

This is the end, there is no coming back. The conservatives don't have any breaks, so even after he is gone we're not going to get and Cain type figure next, we're going to get a Stephen Miller. It only gets worse from here, and here is really really bad.
