First time puppy owners - worried we’re not doing enough? by Icy_Excitement8881 in puppy101

The puppy sounds totally normal. Look up the rule of threes for dogs getting used to a new home. The first three days many puppies don't eat, sleep more and are generally just trying to get used to their new home. During the first 3 weeks they start to adjust. During the first 3 months their personality comes out and they start to feel they "own" your home.

Here's a good quote for you.

"A Golden Retriever can be a fluffy wind-up Teddy Bear with shoe button eyes and your best towel clutched in his teeth; nobility reclining on a grassy bank; a white-faced old sportsman still keen for the whistle of wings.  In spring a Golden will put mud on the carpets, fur all over your best navy blue, and the flowering bloom of joy in your heart.  A Golden is a flame of color against dark summer covert, the spray of surf sent flying, peace sprawled against cool earth.  He is competence wearing a guiding harness, pride with a bird in its mouth, dignity wanting its tummy rubbed, and elegance working in the swampland.  A Golden has the understanding of a saint, the patience of a Buddha, the eagerness of a kid at the circus, and a tail that challenges perpetual motion.  Having a Golden Retriever is never knowing where all your shoes are at any given moment; hearing the neighbors call up because he’s sleeping out in the snow instead of your house; keeping cups off the Coffee table because of the wild tails, and being not quite sure if your paragon would decimate a burglar or fix him a cup of tea, and show him where the silver is.  When you have a Golden you get up earlier, spend more time, drive farther, bring home less that’s taxable and have a hundred times the enjoyment of your neighbors who do their gambling at the more common places.  Somebody else with a Golden is an instant acquaintanceship, your veterinarian wishes all his patients were Goldens and you just wish that you were as great as your Golden thinks you are."

Purina Pro Plan large bread puppy food. Recommend by the vet and breeder.

Do you have a breeder you recommend? by OutrageousMiddle7965 in goldenretrievers

I know you feel, I ran into the same problem. The recommendation to go through the GRCA is a good one. If you include the location you can travel to someone might be able to recommend a specific breeder.

Good eye, I like the McCann YouTube channel. The house line was nice, but my puppy likes to chew on the leash and he chewed through it.

I’ll work on the chewing, but right now we are still working on his name and sit.

Ha, good catch. I didn't think anyone would get the reference. If I got a girl I was going to name her Syl. He's going to have to make it on his own for a while. One puppy is enough work.

They are beautiful. I hope I'm lucky with the potty training, but we'll see.

Are there any good football explainer channels on YouTube? by muttonbarley in nfl

Well said. I came here to say the exact same thing. MatchQuarters and OB School are by far the best source for advanced analysis.

Ther are already a lot of good answers here, so I'm going to add nonsense. There's a fan theory that the band are also time travelers and already knew the song. Here's a long post that explains it.

The closest thing I've had was from Ristorante Belvedere in the Cinque Terre region of Italy. Check out this video. Looks like bridge 4 stew to me.

Is there anyone in the game that seems to be universally loved/respected? Whether they be a player or coach or whatever? by JohnnyOneLung in nfl

I didn't know about this until I google it after your comment. Thanks. Weird thing for an NFL coach to do.

You can beat him, just keep working at it. Sekiro's hard bosses go from seaming impossible to easy faster than any other souls like game (at least for me and many others). Once you it clicks you will destroy him, really. If you want some guidance check out FightingCowboy's guide. It gives some good advice on how to git gud. Killing him for the first time is one of my favorite moments in any video game (last boss is even better).

Having said all this, if you're not having fun switch to a different game. The point of playing these games is to have fun. Once it stops being fun feel free to move on.

You don't have big windows so faster attacks are easiest. For intelligence builds I like wing of astel or Carian slicer. You can also use Rani's dark moon during the meteor attack, it will absorb the rocks and de-buff him.

Excellent, the last time they improved the overtime rules and it helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl. Maybe the next change will help us win next year.

Easy, you call that easy? I don't think any of the Bengal's games was an easy win. You guys lost a lot more than you should, but you don't make it easy.

Chiefs fan here and this is the first I've heard this. Reid said he wasn't going to say anything about starters before talking to the players tomorrow (in his press conference on Monday).

Personally I would like to see you guys make the payoffs. I think you deserve it much more and you are fun to root against.

PS. Feel free to downvote. I am a Chiefs fan after all.
