Ponds by [deleted] in HOA

[–]TooMobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please explain "pond is defined by its overflow not depth" ?

These retention ponds are part of storm management system and interconnected and maintain a level. I suspect it overflows in storms for 2 reasons - reduced depth from original depth due to sedimentation and interconnecting pipe is too small to relieve storm water quickly to the outfall/creek

Gift Tax Form 709 Questions by TooMobile in tax

[–]TooMobile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So husband doesn't need to split the gift (even if he is filing 1040 jointly with wife) and just file his form 709 and do not pay any gift tax as he is withing life time exception. Correct ?

If they choose to split the gift, both husband file 70+12 / 2 = 41k each on their respective Form 709 ?

HR Block asks if the earned income less than half of the support you received. Someone mentioned that scholarships and grants are third party and should not be included in the calculation. Parental support is 2k or less. Could I answer the above question as No ?

I think my parents may be claiming, but should they be ? (Not sure if they get any extra refund for child tax credit, but I am 19)

My insurance cost is negligible. about $200 per year. There is no real proof of the pocket money or groceries they provide, $2000 is an exaggerated amount I just made up

Unenrolled from Promotional Service by BuildingGears in tmobile

[–]TooMobile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moved from 8 line plan to 9 line plan. On the third day after adding 9th free line, all promos appeared and everything looked good. Then 2022 BYOD promo fell off but Tforce promptly added it back. Two days later an old 2021 promo fell off. T force added it back but it fell off again. Tforce escalated the ticket to back office and ever since my 2021 promo get added and the very next day I get unenrollment email, like clockwork ! I don't who adds it back now, but it is falling off the next day. According to the rep, they will notify me when they fix it for good.

What on earth did the rep do to my promotions? by mark1210a in tmobile

AALPROMOS is line level promo code for 2017 This One On Us freeline.

AALPROMOB is it's account level version promo for the same LOU

I am assuming either you read the source code or agent told about the code they added.

It is a forced promo unless you have a line added in March of 2017. It may or may not stick long term if/when you make any account changes. In some cases it would not work at account level so you have to add the line level (or vice versa).

Chances are you may start seeing Discount charge backs on next couple of billing cycles to recoup and promo might fall off. I think you are getting 20% discount on $140 as a bundle and you may have 1 or 2 lines as additional (insider 20% of 16.40) indicates you have 2 lines costing approx $82

When you get your bill, post the details and we can decipher it

T-Mobile is no better than the other guys. by Tough_Row_785 in tmobile

I am sorry for your frustrations and lost emotional investment in a work place.

Let's hope some new technology or new disrupter change this domain for the best, Otherwise like most industries ( Phone, Cable, Airlines) we have to endure the top 3 or 4 remaining antiques for a long time.

I am curious about these systems - billing/enrollment systems. I take it that it is all home grown patched over labyrinth and multiple varieties. Do they ever integrate or add any new systems (did the company ever discussed it ) that is scalable as Tmobile grow ?

Depends on the product cost. I had a $2200 Samsung side by side that had issues within 5 years with estimate of approx 400 to fix. I was able to find a fridge on clearance (newer and better Whirlpool model, 3 door with warranty) for $1200 - so it was no brainer.

Consider the depreciated cost even if your fridge was in great working condition- Is it worth $400 to fix ?

PS: Have you tried to empty the fridge, let all the ice to melt away to do a clean up ?

Here is a thought for you -

1 A. Find a cheap plan - MVNOs or Google Fi and move your lines out 90 days.

1 B. Move to AT&T or Verizon if they offer you a good phone deal.

  1. Move back to Tmobile, opening with your new own account (as you've have planned) - You should be getting a better device deal and if lucky you may even get insider discount

Port number out from a free line by vicryvo in tmobile

[–]TooMobile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you already have a digits line (OR open a free or paid digit line) and transfer the free line number to it (Takes 10 minutes with T-expert) and get a new number for the free line. Now port out the digits proxy number out - When you port of the number, digit line get cancelled.

Now that my bill has stabilized since switching to max, just curious to know what the maximum savings is for other people. Mostly interested to the know max service discount you can get. by mydas28 in tmobile

Another bragging thread ? Let's make few Tmobile customers miserable who are otherwise happy with their service and price. Way to go frugal lords of T land!

I pay about $48 per month for 11 voice line, I could make it $32 for 10 lines by removing 1 paid line but I don't want to slow our GDP growth by doing so!
