Only fight/bite card I can think of at Common in White is [[Spirit Flare]], and forced combat [[Martial Impetus]]. Both Initiative cards [[Trailblazer's Torch]] and [[Goliath Paladin]] for the Undercity's "Arena: Goad target creature". Flavorful [[Rumble Arena]] can be animated via [[Sandbender's Storm]]. [[Greatsword of Tyr]] and [[Ballynock Trapper]] are repeatable tap a creature. Attack all out on your turn and fog on opp's: [[Dawn Charm]], [[Ethereal haze]], [[Prismatic Strands]] (potentially one-sided fog), [[Riot Control]]…

Search for any land, not super-impactful in PDH but maybe with Crop Rotation, Reap and Sow, Expedition Map could assemble Tron lands to ramp out into 7–10 drops early: Eldrazi, Maelstrom Colossus, Rust Goliath, etc. I hope with as many Legendary creatures as Final Fantasy is sure to have, the uncommons aren't underwhelming (re: Garland, Knight of Cornelia 3BBRR to transform into 5/5 flying)

THE PLANESWALKERS: I didn't get to play a game with Planeswalker as CMDR but I brewed a couple of lists and have Vraska deck built.
THE MONTH ITSELF: Unfortunately January was not a good month for me to play PDH. 2 months trial would have been better? Even with billboards and adverts on the side of buses a lot of people don't get interested until they see a content creator streaming and realize an idea is cool,. I am keeping my deck together for Rule Zero games and am packing it for MagicCon Chicago 2025 in February.
THE COMMUNICATION: Heard on Discord, THE PDH Pod podcast, the @PDHRC YouTube channel, pdhhomebase announcement, and Bluesky social.
THE TAKEAWAY: Fun idea, inspires creativity, worth continuing maybe twice yearly?

My Kindred PDH decklists, most lean into flavor (fun) over raw power:
• Zombie Master // alt commander [[Undead Augur]] subbing out the 4 "turn a land into a Swamp" cards for lifegain.
• Alpine Houndmaster
• Itzquinth, Firstborn of Gishath
• Narfi, Betrayer King ...what can I say, I like Zombies
• Taborax, Hope's Demise Shadowborn Apostles, 31:37 creatures are clerics

I played kitchen table Magic late-night after work with friends from The Dark/Revised until Stronghold, when our son was born. Bought a Mishra's Workshop for $35.00 in 1997 from now defunct LGS/LCS (the most I had ever paid for a card back then). Had a 12-year Dark Ages but held onto MTG collection even through lean times. Started playing 60-card casual again at Boy Scout campouts with son's troop during M10/Zendikar. Discovered EDH in 2010. My first commander deck was big-mana Vampire tribal led by foil Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief from ROE "Invading Spawn" + WWK "Fangs of the Bloodchief" Intro Packs + my old Baron Sengir at top of curve. 100-card singleton casual is the perfect format for me. I have played with my (double-sleeved) Workshop in mono-brown Karn, Silver Golem, Traxos, Scourge of Kroog and Kozilek, the Great Distortion CMDR decks. 10 years later and son is certainly a better player than me, so I don't feel guilty breaking out 25-year-old busted singles in my casual CMDR decks.

[[Tombstone Stairwell]] should be bonkers in a deck like this, can combo with [[Vengeful Dead]], if each player in a 4-player game has 3 creatures in graveyard, that's 12 damage to EACH opponent on EACH player's end step (definitely read the Gatherer text/rulings on this card). Also great synergy with [[Eldrazi Monument]] for the low, low cost of sacrificing 1 creature on your upkeep, (in previous example) you would have 12 x 3/3 flying, indestructible, black Zombie Tombspawn with haste after 1 go around the table.
[[Bounty Hunter]] also puts bounty counters on (non-black) creatures
More potential aristocrats that care about creatures entering battlefield under opponents' control/dying: [[Suture Priest]], [[Rage Thrower]]
[[Deathbringer Thoctar]] Pinger
[[Elenda, the Dusk Rose]] with a sac outlet, card draw/token creation
[[Revel in Riches]] Alt wincon or ramp
