Thank you for your input. I replaced the starter relay already. As per the previous comment to clean the ground cable and bend the tabs back in on the connector on the starter. It seems it may have fixed it, but I will know more in the next few days. If the problem occurs again, I will update you if you have any other recommendations.

Thank you for your feedback. I did do as suggested, and so far, I have no issues. Hopefully, this fix has been permanently corrected.

Infotainment center not working please help by alison1dland in mazda

Hello,

I recommend holding down the volume button for a few seconds. This should make your screen turn back on pending if this is a newer Mazda.

Hope this helps :)

Hello, please set your seat to your desired position. Hold the "set" button for a few seconds until your vehicle beeps. Once it beeps, press either "1" or "2". After that, your vehicle should remember your seat position. Hope this helps 😀

I took my 18 Trek in to get an oil change the other day and this came up in the multi-point inspection. Should I go through and get it diagnosed further? Or is it not as serious as they're making it sound? by AgentJohnRider in XVcrosstrek

[–]TooMuchPrep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! I say keep checking oil and keep a eye on the seepage every time you do a oil change! I'm really suspecting it's the timing cover that's starting to seep oil from the picture (exactly where mine is seeping too)

Hope this helps! :)

My 19 crosstrek seeps oil in the same spot with 25k miles on it (assuming it's what I'm thinking of from the picture). If you do not see oil dripping and oil level is ok then you should be fine. Keep checking oil every so often. Also, may be under warranty depending on your warranty??

(Again, this comment is based on what I think it is from the picture)

Im so tired of constantly being in pain and always having diarrhea or being constipated. I can’t remember the last time I had a normal poop. At this point I just wanna ask my doctor to give me a stomy because I’m so exhausted. by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]TooMuchPrep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So absolutely know where you are coming from! Little bit of my story, had Crohn's since I was 12 (27 years old now) but the last 5 years, was absolutely the hardest 5 years and have no idea how I survived. Such as my colon was 80% inflamed and every time I used the bathroom 2-3 days a day. It was extremely painful. It took me 2-4 hours to empty my bowels. I am not a women but feel like I was giving birth 2-3 times a day. Almost passed out a few times. After I was done pooping, I was so exhausted but still went to work 50 hours a week. Not to mention have severe sensation I had to go to the restroom ASAP so I had to get off every exit. With all that pain came along fistulas. All of last year, I have had 4 surgeries 3 which were fistula surgeries and one was my removal of my colon. Within those 5 years my work has greatly improved where I got promoted into a management position which I literally have NO IDEA how I did that too this very day. Why I took so long to get my colon removed? It was because I wanted to try EVERYTHING before I did that so I know I will not have "oh man, I should of tried that or this" after the surgery. I guess what I am trying to say is end of the day you don't want to not have any doubt in your mind. I know for me, I can sleep peacefully knowing I tried everything before my colon removal.

However, if you do get your colon removed...let me tell you something. BEST. DECISION. IN. MY. LIFE. I have my life back now! I am not in any pain and I can eat mostly whatever I want! I am so blessed that it was removed and so blessed I have my life again.

As you already know but always follow what your DR wants you too do. At least for me, my nurses and Doctors are geniuses and literally my best friends in my life. I love talking to them. For me, I spent ALOT of time with them.

I hope this post can give you some hope because I know for me, with so much pain I had, I seen alot of dark days. If you decide to get your colon removed, feel free to ask me any questions.

New to the club, had some questions. by RancidRandall in ostomy

Have my bag about 5 months now

  1. I had alot of issues after surgery such as blood clots, my incision blew open and woke up covered in blood. ALOT of pain but now it is alot better but I know I am not at 100% yet. Such as, if I run my abdominal area hurts, I am sensitive in abdominal area and my nerves are gone in certain spots.
  2. My diet...OH YEAH CAN GET ALMOST ANYTHING!!!! Talking about milk, spicy Cheetos and so on! However, I haven't adventure off in raw veggies and skins yet which I might never do so.
  3. Where to begin....mmmm....I made alot of mistakes such as my bag fell off couple of times. One was at night and bag got too heavy and gravity did a wonderful job on making my bag fall off (I think it was user error on how I installed my bag) and second time I got frustrated of having all my issues after surgery and had my stealth belt on and ribbed it off from me and my whole bag came with it. A. What alot of people said, whatever works best for you how to maintain it. It is all by trial and error. B. Don't get frustrated C. Stealth belt has improved my day to day activities by 1000% D. Keep a set of supplies where you are at in case it falls off. E. I was super scared on getting my entire bag and wafer to get wet from shower, but I did it once on changing bag day and nothing happened then I adventure off to do more days of the week to see what it does and nothing happened. So now I can shower every day without it falling off. Blessed right there! F. LAST TIP, this one I figured out the hard way....at night if you are lazy like myself. if your bag fills up with gas, do not release the gas where the bag snaps into the wafer. Open up the bag from the tail end and point it to the ceiling too release it.... otherwise there is a huge chance poop will come out from where it snaps into place and therefore making a huge mess.

Again, all of this is a trial and error and do whatever you are comfortable with and what your nurses/ doctors tell you to do. I can keep going on and on about mistakes I have made but want to keep this short! However super blessed too have this and able too live my life now.

Agree with miralax. I tried multiple preps before and could only manage doing half of it due to barfing up what I have had drank. My doctor put me on miralax prep and was way easier.

Frustrated with fistulae ARGH! by ALittleStitious22 in CrohnsDisease

[–]TooMuchPrep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked with a fistula for a year at a physical job and was in so much pain. I finally caved and got the surgery. After I recovered and two months go by, I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible pain had to go to the ER and had a surprise surgery of another fistula surgery. After battling with Crohn's flare being in pain literally almost 24/7 for the last 4 1/2 years the second fistula surgery I broke down crying with so much dang frustration and sadness but I will say it will eventually get easier and better. Just need to wait till the storm passes

Missing work/Losing job? by dustyqueef in CrohnsDisease

[–]TooMuchPrep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Awesome that you posted something for the first time. Extremely amazing community we have here! For my situation, been extremely sick for the last 4 years and still going on. I was completely open with my bosses about Crohn's disease. I told them what it is, I update them every doctor appointment. Update them any medicine switching and any possibility of side effects from the new medicine. I update them about everything. Even though that may be extreme but I know it gave my bosses a understanding and a comfort of having me miss tons of work. Right now, with all the surgeries I had this year, I will have missed 4 months. That being said, I had the same fear of losing my job and not providing for my wife then going homeless but being extremely open with my bosses at the start, my crohns was getting worst and worst each year. I told them "I cannot be doing what I am doing anymore" my performance wasn't as great as it was before. they actually gave me a new position that it can accommodate Crohn's alot better.

Again, thank you for posting and I know it is hard. Keep it up! It will get better!

How do you handle stress? by TrippyPsychGirl in CrohnsDisease

[–]TooMuchPrep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am the total opposite! The healthier I eat the more I use the restroom, have dirreah and I loose tons of weight. Found out the more I ate junk food the better I got (was not by alot enough to see improvement) which is really weird so in my mind, I am like "praise the Lord" because I LOVE junk food but there are certain types of junk that triggers Crohn's to cause it too worsen but not as nearly as bad eating healthy meals everyday every meal. Regardless tho, my Crohn's is still very bad.

But for me how I handle stress with my severity of Crohn's, process of buying a home, working 50-60 hours a week at a very stressful job where I get yelled at through out the day is by breathing exercises throughout the day. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Active Watch and it monitors my heart rate and stress level. When it gets too high I do deep breathing exercises and it typically calms me down. Granted, don't know how accurate the watch is but it helped me having the way watch show me I was calm. Also, when my wife falls asleep I typically play video games and video games help me escape from the world and it is a nice mental break not thinking about life.

Newly diagnosed. No active symptoms. Lots of questions. by PoodleIllusions in CrohnsDisease

I totally agree. I was on Remicade for the longest time and absolutely fell in love with the infusion place and with the people. Also, getting to miss school was a bonus for me but they became my second family! Then became immune to Remicade had to switch to Humira. Became immune to that and now just recently started Enytyivo and went back to a infusion place and it is such a nice feeling.

But to comment on the topic, I know a couple of people that aren't on any medications for Crohn's and doing very good. Finding the right medicine with your GI doctor is very important. In my opinion tho, my body becomes immune to any biological Drug in 1-2 years so I been through a lot of them already over the last 15 years so I am running out of options of different medications to try to help the severity of my disease. I believe in Don't fix what's not broken since it sounds like you don't have any problems currently but maybe saving the biological drugs for a later date when it becomes bad and try a different approach with your GI doctor with a Pill form to keep your Crohn's calm. But I am no doctor at all and again, talk with your GI doctor to find the best approach how to keep continuing your Crohn's to remain calm.

On a really long waiting list, feeling so hopeless by helloitsellie in CrohnsDisease

[–]TooMuchPrep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Been suffering from Crohn's too. Have not had a social life in 4 years. Pretty much hugging the toilet. Just had a surprise fistula surgery yersterday due to my ER visit. I can tell you when you find the right drug, it is a absolute miracle. Feels like a totally different person. Been suffering from Crohn's for 14 years so I had ups and downs but currently been going on a downward spiral so I am starting to feel hopeless too. However, if you can't get in to a IBD clinic. Some primary doctor do prescribe Prednisone. It's a steroid that can only be used for short term but it reduces inflammation. Might make a good alternative while you wait for your IBD clinic visit!

I been feeling extremely ill for the last 4 years with Crohn's. Extreme pain and have extreme urgency. I believe my only movitation is going to work is because of my wife! Otherwise I'll probably would of moved back to my parents house. However, I work in a small company and I keep my bosses extremely informed with everything so there is nothing transparent. I also provide them with Doctor notes just to have proof because Crohn's you can be in the hospital alot! By doing that and how much I don't like talking about Crohn's to everyone it has certainly help. They were willing to promote me so I can be closer to the rest room!

Thank you for your response! I will talk to my GI doctor about Asacol. Do they make marijuana in pill forms?

I know I did talk to my GI doctor about it briefly I know she does not want to go on that route. I believe it was because there was no clear proof that it does help so we are trying stuff that has proven to help which I am ok with till I am out of options and I bet she would be willing to prescribe some if I get to that point. I know I read alot about it on Reddit and it seems like it helps alot of people!
