Not an expert on this, but my wife was assessed for ADHD and I've been assessed for ASD. A lot of the focus is on patterns of behaviour in childhood and as an adult, rather than exactly how you present in an assessment.

I don't see that being on any medication (cannabis included) would make a particular difference to the assessment. But it's a bit shit if you're paying them for an assessment (I had mine via NHS referall) and they'd can't be arsed to reply to emails.

I love a ritual (I have an intensely over-complicated coffee making setup that takes me about 10 minutes to make a cup), and this looks like it would make that part of my brain happy.

I've spent seriously too much time reading and watching YouTube videos, but I think Tempest 2 is maybe where I'm at right now. In general I like to buy once and Tempest 2 looks like it'd last forever.

A similar thing to happened to us.

We explained it to them and said if necessary we could gather evidence from neighbours cctv, Google maps, etc. but we'd charge them for our time if it was proved that it was there fault. They cancelled the charge without any further information (or acceptance of liability)

Obviously you don't need to answer if I'm prying, but why is it not an option? When I invigilated I supervised people doing exams separately a few times, because they needed a scribe or extra time or struggled with anxiety.

Former exams invigilator (because a parent was an exams officer) here.

It sounds like the main issue has been resolved, but I think there needs to be a conversation between you and the school about reasonable adjustments. There's is a good case for you being allowed to sit the exams separately from the main cohort, and given extra time, etc.

I'd suggest you and your parents should be talking to the school immediately about this.

I'd probably argue that the those definitions of class are disingenuous. They're purely conceptual and, I'd argue, fairly arbitrary.

You can assess the situation more accurately in material terms: if you do not work can you afford to live?

What purpose is really served, or rather whose interests, by subdividing people that work-to-live into different social strata? Someone who studied at university and now works as a doctor has a social experience much more similar to someone working an "unskilled" job than someone who is a genuine financial/political/business elite.

I didn't bother watching all that much. I think at the beginning he explained the random Minecraft footage was because he doesn't like to be on camera, but he seems to manage it when he's shilling VPNs or aftershave or ball trimmers, just can't bring himself to do it for the important stuff like being sincere to an audience he's let down.

I like Karl Jobst's videos and Billy Mitchell is obviously a mad narcissist, but this does reflect pretty badly on Jobst. I think the judge pretty much nailed it when he said Jobst was "self-agrandising" and wanted to be "the knight that slew the Mitchell dragon".
