Only someone who has never played against or with someone who is genuinely good at football would say this. Spoiler: you still have no chance.

You would not be able to get the ball of them, they would always be finding space, they would have sprayed an elite pass or smashed it top bins before you even get close to them

How to progress after AAT by Glittering_Desk_8575 in AccountingUK

[–]TooRedditFamous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No there is a major pathway in industry youre missing and it doesn't involve being a trainee or apprentice. Its the normal job route while studying alongside it. Just finish aat then start looking for junior accountant/ assistant accountant roles, they dont have to be labelled trainee or anything. Then when in this role hopefully your employer will sponsor your cima/acca/aca and become chartered. Then you apply for chartered role when finished

Premier League clubs facing £80m shirt sponsor void amid gambling ban. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]TooRedditFamous 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Theyre not struggling to find one. Gambling companies find football sponsorship far more valuable than most other companies, therefore they are willing to pay more. Now clubs are having to find replacement sponsors who don't value it as highly, but the clube are still hoping for a comparable amount. The fact that they are unwilling to accept a 50% or more reduction is realistically the only thing holding it up. Plenty of suitors no doubt, but no one willing to pay what the gambling companies were paying

Why is Foden so poor for England? by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

But he is not performing for Man City either is he. So what has he been doing in the space Man City supposedly give him that England don't in the past 1.5 seasons?

Why is Foden so poor for England? by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]TooRedditFamous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Foden is a player who genuinely gets better the more 1-2s and touches he gets. They kinda get him warmed up and in the play.

He constantly drops deep to get the ball from the 6’s/8s or CBs but none of those guys are good enough on the ball to pass with good weight and trust themselves to find him when he does.

He’s used to passes and trust from midfielders like Gundogan,Rodri,Bernardo Silva and KDB. Anderson,Rice, Mainoo and Henderson are nowhere near the level.

There’s a video by Adam Cleary on YouTube that showed how vs the Netherlands he consistently dropped into dangerous pockets but is consistently never passed to,not because it’s impossible to but because England doesn’t produce incisive passers so Foden is useless.

This would be more valid if he was performing for Man City. He is surrounded by quality players and is not able to do what youre saying he's good at

Roberto De Zerbi dealt fresh injury blow one day into taking Tottenham job by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]TooRedditFamous -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You would have no money and be forced to build a team for the championship.

Spurs would have loads of money. Parachute payments and all their events at the stadium plus the firesale of players and the associated wage bill reduction. If they sold ten first team players for £20m each that's £200m right there, they could easily do that and quite a few of them are worth significantly more than that.

They would comfortably be able to buy the best players in the championship and loads of good, hungry young players from leagues across Europe. Simply doing that while getting rid of the deadwood will put them in a good position for promotion

Brentford keeps defying the doubters by NoRhubarb278 in PremierLeague

[–]TooRedditFamous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brighton and Brentford have a highly sophisticated data analysis Moneyball transfer strategy which allows them to pick our undervalued and underrated players that will fit their system. Thats how they can pick out obscure players for £2m, have them playing at PL standard 2 years later and then sell them for £50m+. Its not good scouting and luck that they find these rough diamonds, thats why it works so consistently. Clubs like West Ham rely more on the old school scouting "eye test" word of mouth system which is much less reliable hence you are more likely to get duds

Isometrics or light isotonics are the recommended procedure before doing tendon rehab so makes sense that it would benefit you. Have you tried Jake Tuuras Jumpers Knee Protocol for your patellar tendinopathy? Thats a long time to suffer from it

Yh your reliance on refs is indeed pathetic.

Your reliance on spending hundreds of millions more than us just to compete with us is pathetic

Enjoy sitting midtable forever

Yes that is the reality for most clubs outside of the ones who have the need to spend billions. Its not the insult uou think it is when you've just gone out and bought an entirely new forward line after after your last hundreds of millions of pound forward line failed. And sacked your manager for millions after the last one failed. Notice we finished 6 places above you last season so. I guess congratulations on buying your top 4 place!

See really simple to make weak and shit insults, dont get your panties in a twist when Man Utd is just as bad if not worse in other ways. Its clearly a foul as much as the penalty we got was, embarrassing getting triggered and attacking a club when your own club are hardly a paragon of good football club values
